Pan Flute or Ocarina?
Hello! I am in a bit of a decision pickle here. I am unsure whether to get an Ocarina or a Pan Flute. I wish to learn as much as i can with these instruments as I have with all the others i have learned. I am just wondering what would sound better with more of an acoustic style of playing?

Ocarina is more difficult, but it is also more versatile.

@Micahmer: What do you mean by singing and playing? Both at once? If so both will work (I've tried ). You might consider a native american flute, they have a great tone and are fun to play.

I plan to mix it up with an indie style of playing and singing. I am leaning towards the pan flute and i will spend as much as i can on a good one

What do you plan on doing with said instrument? How much money are you going to spend on it? What brands are you looking at? I collect flutes and I have both a pan flute and an ocarina.
