Criticism on my Art Please I know there are some really good artists on basilmarket and would appreciate their advice or any1 else's too actually. I want to improve and it's easier when some1 else points the mistakes out for you. It could be anything from painting techniques, colours, perspective or even something that just doesnt seem right to you. "Lost in Ruins" is my most recent one so i'd rather you criticize that and you can also see the WIP for it that's on my deviantart. my deviant Sry, i couldn't link right to the art. Just go to "browse" in my gallery for the WIP
What tablet should I buy? I did a bit research and the wacom bamboo tablets seem to be the best and pretty affordable but I'm not sure exactly which one I should buy. I don't think I'm going to buy the connect or capture because the connect doesnt seem to be for drawing as much as other things and the capture seems to be for photo editing or am I wrong? So, I'm choosing between the splash and create. I like the create a lot but is it worth it if it's more than twice the amount as the splash? I especially like the programs included in the create like photoshop and a few others while the splash only had like 3 I think. Advice would be helpful.
How much have you improved? Three months ago I drew a picuture with a robot in it and this week I drew the same robot, and noticed i had improved a bit , thought it'd be cool to see how much other people have improved, upload a picture of how you use to draw and how you draw now. And also, since I'm making a thread anyways, tips and critique would be nice because even though i improved a bit I stil have a long way to go. Thanks.
What landscape should i draw? Don't feel like drawing all of them so i was wondering what landscape do you guys think i should draw. Or if you guys know any other cool maps since i quit and don't remember any of them myself. Edit:oops i meant aquarium not aquatown
Critique my Artwork I havn't done much digital work with human-related stuff so critique or tips would be rlly helpful. It doesn't even have to be some big long explanation (thought that'd be rlly appreciated) you could just point out something that seems off to you like the lighting or porprtions or anything rlly! <-- made the idea of a forest warrior so i gave him some green armour with silver instead of just steel or iron :)
Advice for painting with a tablet I just got a bamboo capture and was looking for advice. I drew quick sketches and then painted them and obviously there's a lot of room for improvement, like I noticed that they lack texture. Any tips, critique, or advice would be helpful. Also, I used Autodesk Sketchbook express for both of them because photoshop wasn't working so I was limited to two brushes sadly. Taking Drawing Requests I don't have much to do these days and feel like drawing somebody's maple char.So i'm taking requests, just post your name and i'll draw a few that look interesting enough. Also I'm only doing sketches, fully shaded but in pencil.
