Thanks guys for all the help, and where would i go to download xfire?
xfire is the best.
fraps and others you have to buy, and even if you can get them illegitimately, they need to be updated every ccouple patches.

Fraps does have a free version which has the feature to record video, benchmark and capture screenshots. Paid version has some other features like recording more than 30 seconds, the ability to capture screenshots in different file formats (JPG, PNG, etc), if those matter very much to you since the quality of the free version is very much the same anyways.
If you're looking to record for more than 30 seconds and have similar quality video, there's other alternatives like Xfire.
