I like Justin Bieber now

I've always disliked Justin Bieber's music. A lot of people hate on him and his personality - wasn't the case with me. I just thought that his music was targeted at little girls and I never enjoyed it, although I acknowledged that he could actually sing live unlike many artists.

But now, I've realized that Justin Bieber's music is really good. I'm not talking about his past stuff - I mean the new album: Believe. I'm a diehard hip hop fan. I've followed artists get big. I knew about Childish Gambino before he released his first real album. I know good music when I hear it, and trust me, this is pretty good.

There are some songs towards the ending of this album that are a bit girly, but some of them are really good. I've already heard 2 or 3 of them at parties. I'm starting to wonder, why do people hate Justin Bieber anyways? Probably jealousy. Even I've known from the start that he was a great kid, I just didn't like his music. But this album has so much depth to it that it was extremely surprising to me. He's matured a lot as an artist and is starting to sound a lot like Usher and Drake. What's more is that he managed to get Drake, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj, and Luda on tracks. Almost every singer, rapper, and artist in the game respects Justin Bieber, so I have no clue why their fans don't. If you don't like his music, at least respect him.

Anyways, I strongly recommend that you listen to his album (or at least 30 seconds of each song) just to realize how he's changed.
The tracks are in order at the bottom: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Believe_(Justin_Bieber_album)

Plus -- girls love it when guys defend Justin Bieber LMAO.

EDIT:
So I went through the tracks again - I enjoyed tracks 1-4, 6, 10, and 14.
He's really starting to embrace other genres. There's tons of dubstep. Some hiphop. Even Jazz.

I just don't like it because of the hair flip.
Excuse you, I've been doing this hair flip before you were even famous.
Now everyone refers to it as the Beiber flip....

I think he's a good guy. Of course, his music isn't my cup of tea.

IMO his music has never been absolutely terrible until the radios overplayed it and his fans went complete berserk over them. Everything sounds bad after a long time. But before I heard about JB and before I knew who he was, I didn't think the music was terrible. I didn't think it was good, it was just one of those "I won't skip this song, but I'm not gonna dance to it either."

Still hate his voice though. And the fact that he acts like the immature high school kid meme.
Gorgoroth has evolved as a band.
Then good job for Gorgoroth .

All musicians evolve at some point. Doesn't mean that listeners should be adverse to change. Bieber probably knew he was gonna gain and lose some fans with this album because its so different. I'm not really a fan, but I enjoy his music now. That's all.

And have any of you heard the new album? I'm not kidding, I really disliked him - but now, I have a lot more respect for him. I'm not saying this is music that I would listen to regularly. It wouldn't be close to my first picks on my iPod. But I'm saying that this is respectable music which sounds pretty good, especially considering that I never liked a word he sang before this album. Before commenting, seriously just listen to a song or two and you'll realize that he's evolved as an artist.
