Instruments in Elementary School
Most people have had some kind of instrument shoved in their hands when they were in elementary school. What was yours?
I got stuck with a recorder, which isn't even a real instrument -_-. Some bootlegged clarinet that was mandatory for all kids to play.

Elementary:
Moon Guitar(?, don't remember it's name)
Middle School:
Violin
Cello
Piano and Violin
When my teacher mentioned recorders i thought we were gonna record our voices or something
I learned how to play piano when I was about 6 or so. We all learned the recorder, I'm sure. But, my parents forced a violin into my hands in elementary school.... and I didn't like that it was so small, so I tried the cello... too big. So, I quit both of them . I was an indecisive child.
We had this itty bitty keyboards, and various percussion instruments
The air guitar...
I could only dream of learning how to play an instrument...
I got violin
By the time my nephews got to 3rd grade, they already downgraded to recorders. They're 4 years+ younger than me.
Recorder, lots of percussion instruments.
We all had to learn the recorder at my elementary school o-o
I played the flute, I liked it a lot
Hella played the Piano.

You could play that? o.o
Friggin' trumpet which I picked 'cause I thought it looked cool then we had this thing called B.O.Ps which playing well IS mandatory... I've been getting C's ever since
I started the violin back in 3rd grade because I wanted to.
Granted the only reason I picked it up was because I wanted to go to Disneyland, but looking back, I don't regret it one bit.
What's the point of a recorder anyways...? I always hated that thing. I could never get a good sound to come out of it and it would squeak and whistle when I blew into it.
LOL same. When I blew in it, it sounded like SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEECH.
