I'm basically hopeless - How to get good equips Over the summer, I began merchanting quite a bit. What for? I have absolutely no clue. I didn't really have anything in mind I wanted to buy. Of course, I wanted new equips - not that I knew anything about buying good equips. Throughout my maple career on my mage, I stuck with average, non-scrolled equips. Maybe I'd have the occasional scrolled equip but nothing special. I hit the 1 bil mark and I realized I have quite a bit of money to buy better equips. You see, my mage has never been exactly above average. I began potentialing my items. Potential Scroll Win or Epic Win. Or am I just stupid? Well finally decided to potential an equip and I decided on my Elemental Wand 4 (Level 70 lightning wand). I bought it for 26mil, and its 94 mattack, some int, and 0 slots. Anyways I potentialed it and got 'Rare' but i dont know if thats accurate because I think I did pretty well. Anywho, I got +4 luk, +4 M. attack, and 4% Crit rate to top it all off. Now I think its a win, but I dont have any knowledge on potentials...so is this a win, epic win, or am I just stupid. Also, should I sell my wand, do you have an estimated price?
How ON EARTH do you find 6% equips? I'm not much of a scroller or a cuber so I've recently decided to buy 6% int equips. As of now, I have enough money for 3 equips - I'm looking for 6% int shoes, gloves, cape, or earrings at the moment. The thing is, I can't find any. After [b]a week[/b] of restless searching, I've found only 4 equips that had 6% int, all of which were extremely overpriced. This is my first time looking for above-average equips as my equips up to now have been only decent. I've never had a problem finding equips since I've never needed really nice ones. I'm basically clueless as to what to do and how to find these equips - merchants overprice everything, there aren't any basil auctions for 6% int gear, and I won't waste mo

I desparately need some upgrades. Pro help please? Hey guys, So I was looking at my mage and I realized that he DESPARATELY needed an upgrade. I know what equips to get (gloves, etc.) but here's the thing: I'm horrible at financing. I dont know what mattack gloves to get or what mattack cape to get and i often fall short/pass my budget. Should I be cubing or buying? - I know nothing :) Should I be cubing potential equips myself to get 6% int? I want to get 6% int gloves, shoes, cape, earrings, and hopefully shield. I recently made a thread asking which equips I should get and most people told me to look for 6% int equips, however, they said to cube it myself. I believe most of these are 200-300mil...wouldnt cubing it just waste more money? I dont have any nx which I can get with real money so should I convert my mesos to nx through MTS in order to cube myself? Wouldn't cubing just waste more money....I mean I'm really only looking for 6% int but I've heard that cubing is spontaneous. 115-120 in a day. Where to go Hey guys. So today, I've decided to stop procrastinating in my maple life and have decided to level from 115-120 in a day. My problem is where to train. I've tried all of the three most recommended spots for people 110-120 (Pirates, LHC, and PvP). Here are my experiences: Pirates: Pirates are pretty good but are getting slow. I think that it takes me a bit over an hour to level now. I'm able to kill off every entire mob before the next one spawns, so basically, I'm training as efficiently as possible here. LHC: I honestly think I'm doing something wrong here. I've gotten less exp here than at pirates, which I've heard shouldn't be the case. I'm not sure why, but here's what I've been doing.
