Issue with the internet Please help My sister is unable to use the internet on her laptop (and hasn't been able to do schoolwork), so this is kinda urgent. It's not so much an internet problem, but more of a browser issue. About a week ago, I switched from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome. I highly recommended that my sister do the same, so she did. We both kept internet explorer on our computers but we just deleted it as a desktop icon (it should still have been able to be accessed through the 'Programs' menu). Anyways, four days ago, my sisters Norton Security trial ended. We had already purchased the Norton package so now she just needed to go online and download it. She'd been using Chrome but Norton requires that Internet Explorer be

Should I Register My Laptop? I had a Pavilion Dv6 but it junked out. I had Best Buy's warranty plan which covered the damage and I was able to get a new laptop and a new warranty plan from the Geek Squad. Anyways, I bought an ASUS K53E-BBR17 which is a great laptop. Now, my question is do I register my laptop as an ASUS laptop? Doing this will enable the manufacturer's warranty which is good for one year. Thing is, I already purchased a 2 year warranty with the Geek Squad which covers accidental damage as well. Is there any benefit to me registering my laptop? Should I do it even if it doesn't make a difference? Thanks :)

Laptop Processors and the like. So my other thread is floating around here somewhere. I'm narrowing down my search for a laptop -- hopefully I can buy one by tomorrow before the presidents day sale ends. I'm currently looking at the HP Pavilion Dv6 which runs on Intel Core i3. For some reason, basil won't let me put up the link Now most of what I'm looking at is customer reviews and I've found out that processers are a big deal. I've seen that the better the processor, the higher the price. In some reviews, like for laptops with the Intel Pentium, people said the processor was good because they are not gamers. Well the thing is, I AM a gamer. I probably spend about 5-6 hours a week on maplestory plus I do a great deal of researching on the

Laptops, laptops, laptops So I'm going to get a laptop soon and I need your help. Just to let you all know, I'm currently 15 years old so a laptop would be nice. I'm hoping that this laptop will suffice for at least the first two years in college. My budget is around 800 dollars, give or take 100. Here are a few questions I have: I may be using the wrong terms. In the first bullet point, I refer to Mac as the Apple system (like OS whatever) and Windows as the Microsoft operating system. In the second bullet point, I refer to Apple laptops simply as Apple laptops. I refer to any other brand of computer as PC [*]What should the laptop run on, Windows or Mac? Remember, I'm currently a student and I plan on using this laptop for my work
