How are people farming 100 tempest coins in an hour?
I collected almost every box, did the 30 minute and 200 kill quests during the 2x event while using a 1.5x drop card. I also did the Christmas stocking thing. I ended up with 73 coins after opening all the boxes and stockings. That's only about 36.5 an hour and that doesn't even include the 20 or 30 minutes it took to open all the boxes.
I'm guessing people are grossly over exaggerating or else I have really box luck.
If you're curious, I opened 12 stockings, 125 Santa boxes, 73 Tempest boxes and 115 Ice Chests.

I'm assuming they're really lucky and dedicated. I only get ~30 coins a day on my Corsair, from the 30 min quest and 200 monster quest and boxes. I'm only online for a few hours at a time though.

Yes there is a limit. 20 from tempest, 20 from ice chests, and either 10 or 20 from Santa.
I have a Luminous, and I'm only getting 20-50 Coins per day. o_O
100 seems a little ridiculous, during the 2x even with my spearman who trains ridiculously slow i got about 80, 60 of them from the boxes. I probably opened about 30 of each collectively so i think you just have some bad luck
People exaggerate. I farmed boxes during the 4 hour 2x yesterday. I had 200 Ice chests, 186 santa boxes, and 100 tempest boxes. At the end I only gained around 60ish coins from the boxes plus about 34 from the quests.
