The removal of Marksman's Snipe Instant Kill
Hey friends, I just recently came back to MS. I've also discovered that MM's Snipe Instakill has been removed. The problem with this is that my range is only around 300k and I believe this is a huge nerf to MMs who don't have high attack range. Should I job switch to BM, keep at it with my MM or play a different character until Snipe gets buffed again?

Thanks for the reply guys, I just remember training with snipe having it be faster than pierce. If it helps, I am playing on Reboot, not regular. Appreciate the feedback!
@acidstep: BMs are consistently getting buffed, definitely not hit with the nerfstick.
Get good link skills. Get good Character cards. Decent equipments, and there you go, you should be able to kill without Snipe... Star force (10) all of your equips, it doesn't even have to be impressive. Basic CRA + Zakum drops (face / eye) and basic 4~6% gear should be more than enough to let you train basicly anywhere.
Insta-kill mechanic became redundant when even medium funded players one shot every normal monster in the game.
@repentant: I recommend looking up training guides on either Youtube or simply go on some popular Twitch streamers stream and check description/ask around for help.
@funkyflame: Mobbing them together would work great if I had the damage to kill them in less than 8 casts of Pierce, but I didn't. Killing one starforce Skelegon with Snipe gave me 0.50%. I don't remember finding any other place with that kind of EXP (I admit I didn't look hard enough, but Temple of Time just wasn't cutting it).
@repentant: I hope you use the term "pretty great exp" loosely? Would still be more efficient to mob them together and use Pierce. Or simply go to a map where you 1ko with Pierce and train there, no way is would it be beneficial to train with 1ko moves like Snipe.
@funkyflame: Snipe worked on starforce mobs, which made for some pretty great EXP if you were unfunded and your Pierce hit like a wet noodle.
The insta kill only ever worked on normal mobs anyways, I don't see how it was that useful. It'd be way better to train with Pierce than Snipe in basically every situation.
idk how this is a huge nerf, did you train with Snipe? That sounds very inefficient and tedious o-o Just slowly build up your funds and spend your money wisely, you'll get there.
@acistep all jobs with insta kill were removed and not because they nerfed either of bowmaster/mm it's just low funds mm>bowmaster
@markred626: Really? I haven't checked BM's rebalanced skills... So nearly all archer classes just got hit with the nerfstick?
all insta kill skill were remove and if you switch to bowmaster you will be more weaker D:
