Why even have individual forums? Because new content is frequently added to MapleStory, and because the 'Entertainment' forums have proven divisive, why not take a different approach? Suppose you could tag your threads, instead of navigating to the appropriate (and possibly dead) forum? What if there were a universal list of all threads on the site (much like basilmarket.com/forum is now) but you could filter threads by the topic of a thread, rather than going to a self-contained forum? For instance, say you were a new player looking to make a cleric, but needed advice. Instead of going to /forum/39, you would make a thread with multiple "tags" like [New Players][Mage][Cleric] that would be visible on the /forum page, but also to

Serious discussion forum I know this isn't the first time such a thing has been suggested; can we put it back on the table? I'm sure I'm not alone in wanting a forum devoted to sincere discussion, where users would be free to have discourses about topics that are a little more substantial than typical Chat fare. Why not reward well-established, well-behaved users with such a privilege? Right now we already have exclusive "deputy" privileges that revolve around reporting/moderating messages, so why not add some incentive to abide by the rules?
