Is there a hero among us?

Why is there only democrat or republican? Obviously the two aren't doing it. It's like choosing between two evils. They both have good points i would like to take and merge into a new party.

I like how democrats try to help the people. Yes some ways may be right and some may be wrong, but at least their heart is there.

That is what republicans lack, so yea, our health and poverty sucks but they don't care as long as they are making money and you would too if you "work hard and be like them".

But that's just saying too bad, the strong survive, and the weak die. There are always exceptions and scenarios that come up that is not our fault yet, they don't care about people who can't make it.

What i do like about them though is that they are so good with business and money. They can make things cheaper and they know how to plan / spend / use it.

NOW IF ONLY it was for everyone and the entire nation and not just for their private company.

In the end it doesn't really matter as long as the two parties can accomplish the following:

Raise the bar, the standard of living. Make it so EVERYONE can have a job and can afford a home, good food, water, and have a balanced work life. Most people will laugh at the sound of that but that's only because we've been living under this flawed system for so long. Its not that hard. Sure it may sound like a cracked up dream because of what we have experienced but if the biggest powers in our country actually worked together for the good of everyone (instead of their agendas) it would be accomplish able. Sadly that is not the case.

Throughout history it has always been like that. Selfish greedy nobles rule while the poor suffer. Is there no one out there that wants a better world for everyone? Does it not pain them to see people in pain? Guess not and people who think like that will never be in a position of power because to obtain that power in the first place you need to do some dirty dirty jobs that they probably wouldn't do to begin with. But never say never right? perhaps im just looking for a savior, a hero, or perhaps a group of savior and heroes since 1 person is not likely to make the difference.

Can you imagine that? Just stop and think about it. No im not talking about communism where everyone is equal and rich cant be rich anymore. I'm talking about a "perfect" country where there are no people in poverty. Yes there will be "poorer" people but even they will still have the standard of a upper middle class american. And the rich will still be rich. Imagine that.

It just pains me that people are willing to benefit at the expense of others because its the easy way to do it. Its not that the rich would no longer profit if the standard of living raised and everyone became the equivalent of "middle class" or higher. It would just be a bit harder, but everyone would be happier and us as a collective would raise intellectually as more and more people would be higher educated and healthier.

The human race is not expanding in the right way (except producing more meat), in fact its at the point where its either going to kill each other, or just keep stalling in misery. Its like we cant get past this point that will advanced our civilization to the next level. We still fight over stupid petty little things and its just so stupid and sad.

My wish is to see this advancement of civilization but sadly, i know that i will not see it within my time. But perhaps, my children, or grandchildren might see glimpses of its beginning, if humanity can successfully, level up.

Will there be a hero among our generation? One who will truly fight "for the people" and start the true advancement of humanity?

There should be no parties. Each person running should just elaborate on what their ideology is, specifically. Then people would vote on what the politicians ideals are rather than their party.

You're naive if you think democrats "try to help the people."
