My opinion: it's a zombie movie. I have seen everything from Resident Evil to Shawn of the Dead, and it underwhelms me.

According to multiple statuses on Facebook, it seems that the first hour or so is good but then it goes downhill from there. Idk how credible these kids are though, I'm sure they can't be considered as reliable movie critics. The only real way is to watch and judge for yourself.

I heard it's pretty good. The only people I know that thought it was decent were people that had already read the book before watching the movie.
So basically, don't read the book unless you want to get disappointed by the movie.

I'm gonna watch it tonight actually, so I'll post in this thread again later to let you know how it was.
