Chocolate Weekend Special Medal Problem
My argument for that is that Nexon falsely reported the Pink Bean Chair being permanent, so they compensated by giving everyone a chair ticket.
Also, didnt provide information of the other event items being permanent or time limited.
-The Easter Bunny Hat
-The Tree Branch Nose
-The Rainbow Badge
These event items were time limited and mislead me to believe the Chocolate medal was also gonna expire. Hence I got it on the wrong character, and I think Nexon should compensate by changing the item to a "transfer to storage one time" item.
EDIT: Okay, so I just found out something else that make my argument even so more valid.

On the page, it says it lasts for 7 days anyways. YET it's permanent. Thaat's why I didn't put much thought behind it cuz I definitely remember reading it and I said "well, that sucks." so I ignored trying to get the medal. Therefore this is the second time they didn't report their event information correctly and hence compensate.

(1) I was not even complaining about those 3 items being temporary. I said that during the first [b]three weeks or so[/b] of events, the rewards they gave were all time restricted. Being so, that [b]lead me to think[/b] that any further items they gave out for the events would ALSO be time restricted.
(2) I made a comparison of what happened in this event to another event that Nexon DID compensate for: The Pink Bean Chair.
The Pink Bean Chair was mislabeled as permanent, when it was temp, so they compensated for it by giving out free chair tickets.
The Choco Medal was mislabeled as temp, when it was perm, HENCE I think they shud compensate by making it tradable once.
It's the [b]same[/b] situation! Annnd my suggestion isn't even anything crazy! I don't see why people can't grasp what I'm saying.

At least you guys got to even log in to obtain the medal. My character has been stuck for 6 days with this PIC login issue so I just decided to not play maple at all. I always get screwed over by Nexon.

Why is it so hard for them to make items permanent? People are less motivated to do an event when the prizes only last a day.

Time travelers as well as the medal from the Silent crusade quests are better. They work all the time as well.

Why are you comparing something that is GIVEN to you for free, to something that is TAKEN from you?
Your brothers analogy has absolutely NO relation to the free items events.
Instead of thinking about your brother being taken away permanently instead of 7 days, think of it this way:
Your brother is a soldier fighting in the war in Afghanistan. He receives news of a 7-day holiday that he has earned from his hard work, and is able to visit. But ONLY for 7 days. Then he must head back to Afghanistan and back to the war. Once he gets here, he hears that the war is over and he can stay permanently, not having to go back to war. Now how in the world is that a BAD thing?

-The Rainbow Badge - Common knowledge that it is temp, this knowledge was spread like crazy the day the patch came out. It's your own fault for not checking around.
None of these arguments show you deserve compensation, especially because the medal being perm is a GOOD thing. You expected worse and got better, so get over it? God people these days. It's no way on par with the PB chair which even then people should of expected.

I don't think anyone is crying. (Okay maybe a little)... Just look at it as giving feedback. But even if the stats are bad I find the medal to be very cute. <3 I wouldn't mind having it as part of my collection.

Yes... I fully agree. I hate to complain honestly, but as someone who can only play this game casually it would be nice if Nexon triple checked that in-game events are advertised accurately and appropriately. They put so much energy and effort into promoting anything that involves NX... everything else falls to the side. It would be amazing if I didn't have to dig around the website to figure out what's going on in game just to be given false information in the end. It's a very cute medal too. Unfortunately I missed out on this one. Would have logged in for it if I knew it was going to be permanent.
