It isnt a computer quality problem it occurs when attacking mobs.

He's here to support those of us that actually have an issue playing a Laggy class.

He said he has the lag issue too, but it doesn't bother him because he is used to it (From playing on a crappy laptop)

This problem has been bothering me as well. I don't lag on any other class no matter how many mobs I'm hitting, but as soon as I use any exceed skill on my DA, I get the graphics lag. And I know it isn't FPS drop from graphics overload (My computer can handle it, I assure you)

I'll try to post something on the official forum for it

ah but you see~~~ I have no problems whatsoever when playing my demon avenger with such lag cause I learned to cope with it on my laptop(......my sister ruined it like there's no tomorrow) but I, myself, stand for the others who can't deal with such problem.

It's probably something server side. Like kanna, her beginner ult lag's some people because it's actually triggering the animation multiple times.or it coud be some other kind oflayering issue due to the skill buff thing

You see here Akaiser i am running a custom built gaming computer that i monitor every hour to make sure it's at its best condition and i still have the lag when playing my demon avenger. There is no lag when I'm playing my nightlord or my friend's kaiser even if I have 2 other games running in the background(Pawn Tactics, CrossFire, Starcraft 2, WoW, LoL, etc) so don't be bsing the problem with your stupid solution.

Get a better computer.

I hope they are able to do something about it as soon as possible and stuff I hope they can get it dealt with in a short amount of time or within the next major patch or so :O They haven't replied to my ticket yet, at least I don't think but last I checked it was "work in progress" so xD

The lag I encounter from attacking is hardly a problem. I'm not sure if it involves me training in Evo, but I highly doubt that.

My "lag" is only a fraction of a second and doesn't really bother me at all. It doesn't slow my attacks or anything.

@SlyOne: Yes im going to add this to my thread as more evidence.

Also my ticket about this issue has gotten a response by an actual GM.

This is the type of lag I get on my Demon Avenger when I play him and it has ALWAYS been like this D:
Maybe you can post this video to show them how it is for me. I'll try posting on your thread on the forums to get their attention about it too.

Mine does the same amount of lag no matter how many monsters I hit. And it's only with skills. If I normal attack, it doesn't lag.

seeing how nexon never fixed town lag for months i doubt they will do anything about it

I don't have that issue and from what it looks like, it's because you're computer is sub-par.

i think its fps, i have a similar issue on my da and when i use hurricane on WA

Eh I'm on Opera I can't go to MS forum it doesn't work.

I closed all tabs except Maplestory. The exceed lag was completely gone for me so was any other type of lag.

-Bump- This is a huge problem for me. I want to main my DA but I can't because of this incredible screen-freezing lag everytime I hit a monster.

This is so annoying.. It happens to me, my other moves work perfectly

Is this FPS lag or internet lag?

cause I've noticed when mobbing 3+ monsters, my fps drops from 60 to 48ish

Isn't it the same lag that mages had with Arcane Aim? Like, when you attack mobs, Exceed would keep rebuffing the same number over and over again?
I also noticed that I don't lag that much when using non-Exceed skills.
You can tell them to try Lunar Slash on 10 mobs and again on a single mob to see if there's any difference in lag, then they can change it so that Exceed only buffs up and applies only when hitting the first mob out of the mobs.

My demon avenger's skills run perfectly fine. I experience none of the said lag, which may be why the dev team is having problems reproducing it in order to fix this issue that certain players experience.

Well the hime on the main site has acknowledged it and is asking for descriptions on how to reproduce the problem.
Could you guys lend me a hand so we can get this thing fixed?

Its because of life sap actually, the game has to preform ALOT of calculations whenever you use an exceed skill from what I understand (hp before the skill to determine its damage, hp after the skill, any other special effects that kick in, normal damage calculations, etc)

Thats what i've heard anyway =P

It happens when I am on my DS too spamming demon cry, or using Vitality Veil on DA. I am assuming
it just has to do with the aoe I guess.
