Golden Hammers Dont Work?

I'm trying to use my 50% Golden hammers on my Zero Weapon and it says that it cannot be used, but I saw screen shots of zero weapons that have been hammered before.. help!

I'm trying to use my 50% Golden hammers on my Zero Weapon and it says that it cannot be used, but I saw screen shots of zero weapons that have been hammered before.. help!

I tried doing that and it says that the hammer cannot be used on the weapon.. :c

double click the hammer then put ur item in the hammer screen slot. then press okay to have a 50% chance to add a slot.
Use the special weapon scrolling UI.
