Nintendo E-shop Problem

When I try to access the Nintendo E-shop through my Nintendo 3DS XL, i keep getting

"error code 005-5964", i can't find much about it online and I've tried system updating and connection tests and everything us working.
Anyone else have the same problem?

In addition to the video posted above, in case that doesn't work (it's for a different error code, but it's worth a shot), try manually setting your IP address info in the 3DS settings (if you haven't already done that. I found a mention on Google of someone who tried that and it seemed to work for them.
Other messages seemed to indicate that this error means the 3DS is not connecting to the Internet properly and giving it the settings manually may help.

Try turning off your internet connection on your 3ds, rebooting your router, and then turn it back on- That usually fixes most errors for me.
If that doesn't work, just contact Nintendo. They've got excellent support.
