Should I get this computer for 450

Hi guys my friend is offering this computer for 450 and I was wondering if its worth picking it up.

CPU: Intel Core i7 860
Video graphics: ATI Radeon HD5770
Hard: 1TB HDD
Memory: 8GB RAM
CD/DVD disc drive
SSD: Samsung 250GB 840 EVO SSD

He is also throwing in his 22" Monitor, doesn't have HDMI ports on the monitor though it uses that rectangular white one (forgot what its called, not VGA).
I understand that the processor is an early i7 model so it is probably not that great.

The processor, motherboard, and video card are the only real outdated pieces in that computer. Again, the performance they offer is still relevant. All the other components are not very or are not outdated - computers with 1 TB hard drives, 250 GB SSDs, and 8 GB of RAM are common. For that reason, building a comparable brand new desktop would cost over $700 so to get your friend's old computer for $450 isn't a terrible deal and is quite good. However, I am also aware of even cheaper ways to get sub-$600 gaming desktops and that is to buy a prebuilt and add your own video card. As an example, one buys a $530 DELL Inspiron desktop and installs the best video card the power supply can handle such as the ~$130 GeForce GTX 750 Ti in which the reference specifications draws 60 watts.
That would be DVI, which carries the same digital video signal HDMI would anyways. This should be a non-issue.

Its performance is still relevant despite not being as good as even modern desktop Intel i3 processors.

Whether that matters depends on the games you play or want to play. This computer can max out some older, but highly popular games chiefly CS:GO, League of Legends, and DOTA 2.
It's honestly not a bad deal. You can just upgrade the GPU and it'd be a decent PC since it already has the recommended RAM, SSD and the OS.
