Battlemage

Starting a Battle mage

So, I've been thinking about making a battle mage, mainly because of the leech skill <3. If I were to get maybe 600 m.ark and 100% Int, what would my range be approximately? What damage should I expect with my skills/hyper skills maxed?

Also, how well are battle mages at bosses that require tons of mobility like Magnus, gollux, etc?

And my final question is how well is training in the upper levels, like level 150+?

Thanks for the help!
Mobility isn't as bad as it seems. We have capped speed at 160% and our teleport is up to par now with mage explores (not Luminous or Kanna though), but I never feel slow.

Like everyone else has said, training is subpar until 170. After 170, we surpass the majority of classes in training.
This is true until you are funded. Once you are funded bam trains slow in comparison to other classes because other classes can 1shot half the map at stronghold with 1 skill and bam need to cast 2 to do the same. Bam is also the most difficult mage to train with funds because of having to cast bkb after every finishing blow.

Bam have a lot of positives and a lot of negatives. You don't see a lot of the negatives until you are doing endgame stuff like boss and dojo. I think some of the negatives can be dealt with or partially avoided but they are still there.

The positives I like are good dojo ability at least before you are at godly funds, good range, fun melee attacks, good mobility on most maps, and good survivability at bosses without 1hit ko.

some negetaives are buff cd on major skills when you die at 1hit ko boss, bad dojo time at max funds, no elemental reset, blue aura not working in boss solo, and having to cast bkb after every finishing blow.

@lKingAura pretty much got all of it down.

I have a lot more magic attack than you, but you have a bit more %int than I do. About 200k seems right for what range you would get. On normal mobs that's like 600k~800k damage with FB and 1m~1.2m with BKB, without battle rage.

Our mobility is fine, especially since, imo, tele is more useful than flash jump. As long as you can prevent yourself from dying, you should be fine. Casting the auras do take some time, which is a struggle when fighting Magnus or other end-game bosses. Gollux is easy when fighting the jaw, eye and jewel, it's a bit difficult since we do have to take care of the mobs at the bottom, but if you time carefully when to drop down and clear the summons, you should be fine.

Training isn't that great in the early levels (by early, I mean everything pre-170), but I also trained before we had the rush ability, I'm sure now with it, it's easier to navigate through maps. Blue Auras damage reduction with Blood Drain makes recover more HP than you loose, so you never use health pots, which is a nice plus.
