To be honest, I've always cared about my grades in school. Once you get into post-secondary school, grades are pretty much what you need to achieve, to pass or fail. Grades are what post-secondary schools, grad schools, law schools, medical schools, business schools, etc. all look at. Thus, I care more about grades than learning.
My GPA in highschool was less than 1. And yet I was able to get a job as a game developer without even finishing college. Grades only prove that your a hard worker, but sometimes that is not enough to get the job you want. You need to give proof to an employer that you are skilled.

u don't need to learning but u should get high in grade
grades for high school then learning for college
grades...
Learning. Not like I really have an option in university. I study my ass off for 70s and it's hard to be happy with that.
So college is different?
Grades because of the GPA... I don't do well in school if I'm not learning though. I will care more about learning once I graduate.

Learning.
Grades don't matter squat outside of the school system.
Grades, because grades are what show up on college resumes. But essentially, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy.
High school - grades.
University - learning.
