Something to Consider

I realize a lot of people have tons of questions as to what they can or cannot do when there's a public dupe is out due to the circumstances over the past couple of weeks. This is the second major dupe method that has been released within... 3 weeks? Last time, a rollback was enforced due to how quickly duped items spread the market and to save the integrity of the game a rollback had to be used. This time around it didn't seem to spread at all the first day. (At least in Bera. I know in Broa, & Scania it was hell again) Then the second came around and towards the end of it before the USC illegitimate items began flooding the market.

Some people may agree, some may disagree with Nexon's decision about the last dupe. Some people may agree, some may disagree with Nexon's decision to not rollback this time around. I for one am not very surprised they didn't rollback last night since that would have meant rollbacking around 48 hours of game time. However, for this decision to be justified I would hope they would be relentless when it comes to item deletion. The only problem with this is that they have to go through each character... and that... just doesn't seem very likely to happen so for now, I believe the dupers win. this time. I know Nexon will be able to figure out who initially duped large quantities of items but I don't think they'll be able to punish everyone who decided to take advantage of the situation at hand.

In the end, even if there are left over duped items that are significantly cheaper compared to what they were the day before, no body knows what will happen if you do purchase them. We can only make assumptions. However, if later on Nexon does ban you, please restrain from whining on Maple saying you didn't do anything.

I also agree with you.

Sorry to butt into your thread, but I would also like to add my input about this topic.

Also, take into mind that Hackers are to be blamed here, not Nexon. Nexon only took these repercussion due to the response of the hacker. If there were no hackers to begin with, then Nexon wouldn't have made these decisions.

In a more helpful sense, we should actually help Nexon come up with ideas on how to prevent these problems from appearing.

(Like giving dedicated players (level 220+?) the ability to temporarily ban a player for 24 hour which puts those player up for discussion, and if those dedicated player abuse their power, then they will be revoked of their power and get banned themselves)
