Obviously there are time and place for everything. The fact is if someone holds a higher position of authority than you, you address them with a respectable title. If you see someone as your equal in social standing you address them in a informal manner. I even have a job with an engineering firm, so I know my manners well enough (otherwise I would've never passed the interview). But this is basilmarket, a public forum for people to gather and chat, and as far as I am concern, being informal in a public forum is the norm. Why are you so upset anyways? It's not like I am calling you the "poor bastard" so you shouldn't even be offended in the first place.

I wasn't trying to make myself look as a well known person with the first line, I just said it to see if there were any old friends that still play the game and use basil... As the other people who commented has said, I just wanted to see what changed in this game and to receive any feedback on it.
