Should've known the consequences for investing in items like the ones Nexon removed

When I lost my Rac mask it didn't matter to me because I already knew it was eventually going to happen

What's lost is lost and a petition like this would just be ignored and become a waste of time, just like the post I'm making

Everyone is going to forget about everything once Tempest and the 3 new classes come out anyway and new items will be created so in time, the entire deletion will just be forgotten ;p

I agree that people deserve compensation... Most of the people on here don't see the cycle that comes with these duped items when in reality nexon is making a killing of duped items. Then the fanboys or people that know nothing about business on here basically defend nexon stealing peoples money -_-

-A lot of perfect weapons were made with non perfect scrolls.

The "continue" implies that they will not stop. They feel too strongly about it, even if every single Mapler signed the petition, I still don't think they would put them back.

They could never have just banned people who bought duped items. You couldn't tell a LOT of the items were duped. They couldn't just ban random people for no damn reason. It affected too many thousands of players. People ran out and bought NX cards specifically to buy things out of the MTS, and Nexon knows it, and there was a lot of stuff in the MTS that was duped that you couldn't tell from legit items. When you dupe a clean such and such and sell it in the MTS or the FM, nobody knows it's duped. Matter of fact, all these uppity dumbasses on these forums that run around yammering on about "you're not legit" and "you bought duped stuff" and all this crap to each other are supernoobs. Ever buy ANYTHING in the FM? A scroll? A chair? yeah, then I guess that makes you not legit either. People are being uberstupid about this situation.

I'm glad the crap's being deleted but I disagree with the method Nexon took because Nexon stole [b]millions of dollars[/b] from [b]thousands of players[/b], they purposely did this by leaving the items in the game, to damage the economy for [b]over two years[/b], on PURPOSE, because Nexon didn't give damn about the players or the economy. It's was ALL about the money. Even players who don't know if they ever bought a duped item or are running around saying they never bought anything duped, running their faces like clocks, should be pissed at Nexon for this because it broke the economic aspect of the game. Everything that WASN'T duped, went UP. It INFLATED the economy 10 fold. It's why NX is 50-70:1 now and not still 8:1. Duping and Nexon's ignoring of it to make money off of it. The people defending Nexon on this point are so stupid and ignorant as to what went down it's breathtaking. Get a clue or sthu.

add me, ill sign up, i want conpensation for their mismanagement of the game, and the blatent stealling they did, by allowing the things for over a month in mts, allowing us to potential and cube, then steal them from us a year later. Of course just before the next patch were boots with attack will become available for hackers to abuse like empress. Then we can all spend another $300 to make them godly. Nice cash grab Nexon.

Remember something important people, without us buying NX, the game cannot continue to be free, its that simple. Your free game is beacuse of all of us who buy NX, and as such, we should be more respected.

You can't just be careful of something that happens all the time. How long has duping been going on? Over a year? Maybe more? Truth is, if they rollbacked the database it would delete everything, not to mention we would downgrade by like 10 patches. That stuff is what closes the game.

Plus, it's policy (and also the right thing) to just delete all the hacked items. If you knew that the item was hacked/duped, then that's your choice. You pay the price. Just be sure that Nexon will delete it very soon. As for those who had no idea, we are sorry. Try to prevent this from happening by taking guidelines on how to figure out what's duped and what's not.

My tip:
Avoid OP items. You'll just be bandwagoned anyway.

Scrolling with duped scrolls leads to just an illegitimate item. 10% shoe attacks and white scrolls are so over-duped it's absurd.

The game would be better off just getting rid of the stupidly over-duped items and items that could only be made with duped scrolls and being done with it.

@m3zmur1ze: True, this is how the 38 attack shoes came to be. Even then, the first scroll to get shoes to have such a high attack would have to have been a shoe attack scroll. It is just a endless circle when it all comes down to a person believing they have legit shoes cause they scrolled them themselves but in reality none seem to be.
I wont be playing much longer this game, but i sure will treasure the shoes since they did/will still help me getting my aran/mercedes to 200 before the next patch.

I lost around 110b due to the removal of these items, but I honestly think Nexon did the right thing. 98% of everyone knew that these items were duped/hacked, but they (we) still bought them.There's no one to blame except yourself if you bought any of these things

should have removed them before they had a chance at destroying the economy!

Well 99.99% are. the other 0.01% was made because dupe existed.(duped scrolls) So yeah. go fish.

I don't know if this thread is serious lol, I know it was a crappy move waiting that long to delete them but eh it should have been done years ago.

@Ecyz: I have personally witness what seemed to be legit 27 attack vss being made but it took me a while to understand why it shouldnt even be possible. If you combined all the very true to the game legit 10% shoe attack scrolls, it would be so minute that it still would not have made a 27 attack shoe. Adding to this, white scrolls which Nexon is already in the process of taking away from the game, which we all know that most of them are illegitimately created and would have helped to make the VSS. When you consider all of this, Tyler's conclusion that all VSS are duplicated -even through the means of illicit acquired means- is right on the money.

I was originally supporting this, until i realized that everything people have said is true. We knew that they were duped, yet we still bought them. Nexon's just doing all the legit players who have stayed that way from the very beginning a large favour.

If you want to make your character stronger, you don't need items, just add STR.

Sorry but it's not gonna happen. At most you might just get some sort of compensation. Other than that, this petition won't get you what you want.

So, they should let people keep items that were duplicated through illegal means because they spent money on them and 90%knew they weren't legit.
That's like saying if you have Mary-Jane bought from a friend the cops searched your place for evidence took down the friend you should still keep the mary-jane because you bought it even though you knew it wasn't right.
