Hey, just hit fourth job on my ab and I love it so far. Just some questions about some things though:
Can I spam any skill after maxing the last affinity skill?
Do most people put the hyper skill points into soul resonance?
Is affinity better than mastery at first?
Are there any skills you just flat out don't use that are soul battery skills? I'm not using star bubble or the other one at the moment
is soul resonance used as often as possible when bossing?
i'll just ask people who seem to know their stuff in the comments if I think of more

80% of the ABs use Soul Seeker as a main bossing skill along with Trinity

Actually, I use star bubble to recharge any uncharged skill because it shoots the fastest out of all the other skills (imo) so I can get back to roar/trinity without wasting ribbon/resonance (or if it's on cooldown).

No. Its a good alternative but imo seeker(and finale ribbon when is not in CD) is a better option to recharge roar.

You cant spam any skill after maxing Affinity 4, only those that are already spammable by default due to not being soul battery or CD ones.
As of soul resonance hypers you could go for the CD reduction one or the damage increase. Dont go for the duration one as its bugged. Though usually, the points go for the 3 soul seeker ones, CD reduction finale ribbon and CD reduction soul resonance.
Its much better to max affinity 4 first since its a huge increase in the recharge rate and you will be able to use roar, soul seeker or trinity more often.
The soul battery skills that are barely used after 4th job are star bubble(1st job), lovely sting(2nd job) and shining star burst(3rd job).
Soul resonance is only used at bosses as a damage burst skill(not holding down the key) or to clear summons. Despite having extra damage at bosses, its more oriented to be a mobbing skill.
1. After maxing Affinity IV, your chances of failing to Recharge decrease significantly, but the only skills you can spam indefinitely are Pink Pummel (2nd job rush skill) and Heavenly Crash (3rd job).
2. Most people do the Soul Seeker Hypers, since it's the best skill for 1v1. I personally did all three Soul Seeker Hypers, Finale Ribbon - Cooldown Cutter and Soul Resonance - Cooldown Cutter, but Soul Resonance - Persist and the Reinforce Skills are also nice.
3. Yes. Definitely do Affinity IV before Soul Shooter Expert.
4. The two skills I do not use on a regular basis are Star Bubble and Lovely Sting (2nd job). Heavenly Crash is nice if you need to look away from the screen but still want to deal consistent damage.
5. Soul Resonance isn't your best bossing skill. Unless the boss has multiple parts (Chaos/Regular Zakum and Horntail), Soul Resonance is actually worse than both Trinity and Soul Seeker.
