MapleStory 2 Beginning Gameplay is finally out

I feel you. Definitely agree. Perhaps if the game was actually difficult with some rewarding, engaging boss battles/ quests, it'd bring back some of the good fun of ms1
Either way I'm going to try it out, but it just doesn't feel like an MMO.. Almost looks like it should be on an iPad or something. At least from what we have seen so far. We could only imagine what late game is going to be like. If it brings back pre big bang nostalgia then count me in.
@Amped: yea or if they must do the cube shape portals. Make it blend in with the environment. Like have a wall surrounding it or something. There are some portals that look nice but the ones that just stick out of no where. Makes it look weird.
@BoredAF coolstory bro. sorry but we really didn't need to know that lmao. No one forcing to you to play this game. No clue why people think that since this game is coming out. That you will be forced to play it. Both games are going to be updated constantly.
@GlitterPumas Its the tutorial. Like all games the beginning areas are going be boring. Imo MS1 is boring unless they are doing something cool like facing bosses and what not.
@omniscient1 I agree... They look like garbage as is, hopefully they can make it a little light on the ground, but still have it very visable, like you suggested.

@boredaf idk man it looks like 2,5d. i think he was not even using his mouse in the game, which retains some of the maple feel

only thing I dislike are the portals. it looks out of place. It should be just a light on the ground or something instead.

Wth kind of graphics did you want ? It's MapleStory it's suppose to be 'childish" If you want ESO or WoW or Archeage type graphics then go play those games. The game doesn't look that bad at all. It fits the game
