Yeah, I find the system 343 went with on Halo 4 to be a bad step on multiplayer. But to be fair, if you played for about and hour and 30 minuets you could probably have the light rifle unlocked. I use the BR because I want it to be fair for all the new people, I never bought the light rifle yet, never will. I'll just pick it up from the ground.

My boyfriend and I had this problem. The best thing I did was tell him to chill out before this in-game competitive attitude became an issue in person.

Of course, if your girl is the "Fine, don't talk to me at all" kind of chick when it comes to confrontation, I wish you the best of luck.

Just let her play alone if this is the attitude that you have. After a while she might get bored and be willing to negotiate. Another option is playing different classes. Or not discussing equips and damage at all. Maybe the reason she's jealous and competitive is because you brag a lot?

I personally think @Dorks has the right idea. Are you and your girlfriend partners? If so, does that only extend to romantic aspects of your relationship. Or could you also be business partners? I'd encourage you two (if you're pretty serious about each other) to start pooling your wealth so to speak and working together to keep improving. Make decisions not out of greed or a desire to get better alone, but to help each other. Talk to each other and prioritize your wants/needs. Then work together to fulfill them. Perhaps by taking turns with purchases and helping each other look for deals. IDK. Yeah!

If you have the money to fund her, then you should. But only if she doesn't have minimum equips, like % stats or a scrolled weapon. Other than that, a new little virtual weapon isn't so bad.
I do more merching than my boyfriend and we still split the money/spending stuff. So even though I have the money on me, he can say no to buying it (since I like NX clothes).
