Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Hi all super smash bros fans. I just wanted to make a thread where I could find people who enjoy this game as much as I do. I decided today, to continue a channel, dedicated especially to this game, because I LOVE it.

I have a lot of ideas on what to upload on youtube about this game, but for now, I would like if you guys visit my profile (456704) and tell me what you think.

Today I uploaded a series called "Levels" it consists of 4 3 min videos. Basically if someone (I have not played before), comes to my house and wants to verse me in it, I tell them to do 4 levels, if they can pass all 4, then I will play them, the different levels tell me how good they are, and tell them how hard I am. If they can't beat all 4, they won't have any hope of beating me. Anyways, the playlist is there, and it's to show off the stages, not my skill.

There was once a time when I was able to face 3 lvl 9s at one time, but I have gotten really rusty, I can face lvl 5s with ease, atm haven't tried anything higher yet, but rate, comment, and subscribe to support me, and give me some ideas too.

Thanks guys.

Here are the Stages.
Stage 1 Cloud Nyne: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BzQKLZSCwRs
Stage 2 Pinball: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7PdYH4hlhXo
Stage 3 Hell: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7_mk7AfFKUk
Final Stage Psychic Mayhem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9TYtFe6feM

I don't think the topic was to discuss which was better, but in any case, point taken into consideration.

you could send me the link to of replays of the stages, and I'll post them on my channel, or you can send me the 2 stages, and i'll make a replay of them
if that's ok with you xD.

@andretheman: Fun stuff, that ssb1
I don't have much experience with brawl myself... I've only played it a few times at friends' houses x3
idk about brawl, but in SSB1, 3 level 5s are pretty easy :x
I've beaten 2 level 9s at once, but never 3 level 9s (assuming they're teamed, of course) ;o
It's pretty difficult when they mob you from every side xD
LOL ikr, I remember when i first played ssb1, I never had a n64 so I wasn't great at the game, I jsut always used to look forward in going to my friends house to play that game lol. I remember using samus because of the 'big ball move' I used it cus i never knew how to do anything else xD.

On a side note:
in brawl I just wish the wifi was better, like in mario kart the wifi is like 99% perfect, the other 1% is when it kind of glitches for me, but in brawl the wifi is like 90% slow most of the time, with the character responding like 3 seconds after i make the command. sad day ):.

Good idea, I think someone could play metaknight/kirby, fly to the ladders and just wait for the computers to kill themselves .

@andretheman: I would probably cheat and stay on the bottom while the computers hurt themselves on the spikes.
I like brawl if I'm going to be playing with my friends. Where as If I'm going to be playing with my bro (he takes gaming very seriously) we will play melee since he likes its competitive style. Overall I like brawl better because its more friendly and fun.

As for the stages, what level are the computers and do you have to play as the same characters in the video?
The description says the requirements, for each stage (well for me)
You are allowed to use any character you want, I didn't want to restrict it too much,
I think stage 1 = 3 lvl 3s (ice climber)
stage 2 = 3 lvl 4 (snakes)
stage 3 = 3 lvl 5s (Bowsers)
stage 4 = 3 lvl 6s (Ness', or one lucas 2 ness ore vice versa)

Oh and the items are specific to keep the environment the way I imagined, like for instance, in hell, the only items selected, are: blast boxes, and hot heads, along with the final smash which usually ends up with bowser getting it making it really like hell xD.

BTW guys I looked at my 4 stage series, and noticed that stage one had MUCH more views than all the other stages, so i edited the topic thing, and put in the links for all the stages, comment and tell me some stage ideas, I wanna dedicate the channel to stage ideas, and creations, and fun levels to play for people who wanna look at it from a mini game perspectives, this would be like the boss battle mode (my version lol).

@golatias: In brawl or ssbm? I remember being able to fight a lvl 9 in ssbm, i never tried teams, in brawl idk yet with 3 lvl 9s.
And i don't think level 9 on teams is a good idea either, im thinking about it, and its HARD in my head. (melee)
In brawl plus, i know for a fact the ai is much stronger than usual, lvl 3 in brawl plus is like a lvl 5 or 6 in reg brawl.
Ahh the talk about ssb, makes me feel good, I can't wait till the next one comes out (they would be pretty stupid not to release another), cause all the ssb titles have had good ratings all of which were above at least 8.
I can't believe i'm actually defending a horrible game like brawl LOL.
No chaingrabs take "skill" if you have enough tech skill. It's all execution.

In melee, 0-deathing spacies with Marth takes no skill once you learn it. It's so automatic. I can get a grab on a random noob or Mango, and still take the stock (Disclaimer: I probably can't land a grab on mango LOL). Sheik's chain grabbing in melee is definitely as easy, if not easier than Falco's or DDD's dthrow CG.

The only part i would agree with is that brawl lacks combos because of the horrible hit stun.

I'm sorry but chain grabs in brawl are easy as hell depending on the character. Especially with Grab release.

Brawl has no 'combos'. They have chain grab and follow-up hits.

Oh my god. Your post makes me laugh; brawl is obviously better than melee just because of a couple new characters and better graphics. that's real funny.
If you actually base the game play levels based on graphics alone, thats quite sad. thats like saying super mario bros old school was garbage just because of the graphics now. Then you say lvl 9's are impossible. thats funny. Did you think that developers make impossible computers? obviously you can beat them. just because you cant beat them, dosnt mean they're impossible. Melee is infinitely better in almost every way besides the graphics.

An example of REAL melee gameplay AND beating 3 level 9's at once
ICs had chain grabs in both games. Melee just required more skill and timing.
I play both, and trust me, as much as i dislike brawl, the brawl grab combos are harder.

In melee, wobbling is ridiculously easy to time. The dthrow->dtilt is also super easy. The only hard thing is the regrabbing near a edge that wobbles likes to do.
Snakes "glitches" and ice climbers etc. are worse then wavedashing.
IC's grabs aren't really glitches. It's the game registering them as 2 characters for broken grab combos.
@aznseal: usually moves that are meant to be in the game, are placed in the book that comes with the game, if the name of a move is made by someone who did not develop the game, then it was never meant to be in the game. I also don't remember them saying anything about (more hidden adv techniques for you to learn) in the melee book.
I understand the logic with adding the slide, but I don't think it was meant to be spammed madly, im not saying I don't like hardcore gaming, I'm able to use it nicely in melee, but I still find it to be something that is not meant to be in the game.
Starcraft book doesn't talk about Forge FE. Does that make fast expanding a glitch?
Pokemon book doesn't talk about EVs/IVs. Does that make those things glitches?
Yeah its kinda boring facing people who are not as great as they claim to be, not to mention it is interesting to see how they handle those stages, might give me some ideas. Im glad it makes you laugh, i like when people are happy

@GreatRit That is why I play games, for fun, I really don't like to get pissed when playing a game, or competitive, it's a waste of energy for me. With Melee, im guessing most melee loves play it for skill, I like skill, but when people use what is not intended for the gameplay, then it just becomes exploiting glitches to me, i mean yeah everyone is able to do it, but why play against someone who doesn't know glitches like wave dashing etc, its like saying your winning without the other person fighting, I don't really see thrill in that.

Also the reason I say glitches is because, they were removed in brawl, which tells me that the developers never meant for those adv techniques to be used.
Wavedashing isn't a glitch. Developers intended for the sliding motion because without the momentum transfer from accidentally air dodging after a jump, you'll fall through the stage. With that in mind, they decided to add in a slide.

it was removed from brawl because Sakurai thought melee was too difficult due to all the casuals QQing

Level 9s are impossible. Stop trolling.

It's almost as impossible as getting out of Zelda's dtilt, which combos almost infinitly!

And http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEHJs7Zv9ws

See? lvl 9s are impossible. Of course that guy beat 3 lvl 9s. He used an AR. That video shows me, one of the best melee players in Alabama, losing to a lvl 9.

@Leet64: I Like melee for its speed and fast paced gameplay, brawl lacks that, but brawl plus includes all the bonuses in brawl, plus gives it the fast game play that I want, which is why if I want something closer to melee for me personally, then I play brawl+, because I want the things I like in melee, and the things I like in brawl.

Yeah I got wifi, don't remember my friend code, my wii is disconnected atm, but
If it was ssbb vs ssbm, I like ssbm better because of one thing, and that was the faster gameplay, if ssbb had that, then I would die. SSBB would also be better if the online play was smoother like in mario kart.
