Thunderbreaker

Thunder Breaker Attack speed

I will just make this as concise as possible.
A thunder breaker with SI, and Booster, will be able to attack 10x faster (based on how fast you press the keys, and how you time it), if you combine ANY link skill with the vortex skill on cooldown.

Bossing IS NOT an issue, because I pq with alot of people and end up killing the boss before they can even touch it, not because I can one hit, but because I attack the boss 5 times before they can even buff themselves. Lol don't play with lightning. We are the fastest attacking class in the entire game now, no if's and's or but's.

Wait so it is better to not use the lvl150 hyper to give the no cooldown?

This seems to be the most active thread in tb forum

Is there a guide for TBs to use for training areas on long flat maps ?

@SlyOne: It's just the equivalent of chaining one skill with itself. Doesn't really give you a "speed" increase. I think chaining is still better.

@ProHealer: Oh, I see. Well that does make a lot of sense but even then wouldn't the speed make up for the 15% damage?
You know I've honestly been wondering this myself. I am thinking you need to keep your linking together as fast as possible but I'm not so sure O:
OP is exaggurating quite a bit. It's faster but nowhere near 10x. 2x the speed would be generous. But you lose the chaining bonus damage. Your typhoon has to be able to go on cooldown, then if you chain any skill with typhoon, even though it's on cooldown, it reduces the cast time of your other abilities

So can someone clarify this? I don't get it.. maybe with a video?
I'm trying Shark Sweep with Gale and I don't see it. Yes, it still gets cut short, but there's still a bit of lag before I can Shark Sweep again.

So essentially if you use Thunderbolt and then Gale/Typhoon, if they're on cooldown, you can cut down the Thunderbolt delay even if those cooldown skills aren't ready to be used?
Exactly that.
EDIT: It will work with any skill as well, Thunderbolt was just an example.
Thunder Breakers have a system--not unlike Hayatos--that allows them to shorten the cast time of their skills by linking them with one another.
For example: Thunderbolt on it's own is really slow, but if you combo it with another skill you can speed up the cast time a fair amount.

This effect still applies even when you combo an attack with a skill that's on cooldown (Gale/Typhoon). So you could be whipping out Thunderbolts much faster than it takes for the animation to finish.
Already knew this.
Good for weak stuff but for strong bosses, better to use annihilate + thunderbolt, slower pace so you don't break your fingers like you're playing an aran.

Whoops misread for a minute there
It definitely works, my damage increases by quite a lot per line when I chain

Was doing this for a while until I hit 150
I'm wonder if TBs have the most hits per sec while doing this. The speed is insane...

Sadly you don't get the 15% damage bonus from your 3rd job passive if you do this. So it's a bit of a tradeoff.
