How to trick people into receiving a gift?
So there are a few gifts I'd like to give to people, but they won't take it for free so what are some creative ways to trick them into taking a gift? Yesterday my friend asked me to transfer something and then they told me to keep it; this would be an example of what I'm looking for.

You can be like, oh Hey can u transfer this item for me my storage is completely full and no one else is online, And then when u give them the item u be like oh well keep it my job is done
To improve on @intjmikey's idea, instead of straight asking for mesos, because sometimes people don't give mesos out easily, ask for Potions because who doesn't have spare potions in their use slots? If they boss too, they will more than likely have tons of Reindeer Milk and Dews.

I tell them that there is a 1nx sale and to quickly get it before nexon removes, after i send the gift.

@pholox: it's important that they are culturally literate.
Ask them to transfer it. That's the most simple way and it works. Don't over complicate it. Just make it casual.
You're in the middle of the conversation
Suddenly you say "omg I forgot I needed to give this to my other character. xfer pls."
Done.
1. Drop the item in front of them, in a place where others won't loot and log off.
2. Find an excuse to trade them and when then click trade you quickly put in something and click trade before they can cancel.
3. Gift them from the CS. They can't refuse :T
4. Set up a store in the FM and set the item to 1 meso to pressure them into buying it so some random person won't end up buying it.
5. Threaten to gift them if they don't take the item you're trying to give them.
6. Blackmail.

if they are nice i would go on a mule and ask them kindly if they could give me mesos for pots then when they accept i put the item and accept
I'll usually ask them to transfer something stupid then put in money/an item at the last second after they've pressed accept already.

Send them a threatening letter
threaten with suicide. and you also find out who your true friends are, its a failproof win/win
when you give it to them say: ceci n'est pas une cadeau. if they're culturally literate, then they'll understand.
