New age of Freemium Gaming

This is probably not the best place to be posting this because maple is the same way, but lately I have been really tired of the games that come out on mobile devices or the whole gaming industry really. It's not that they aren't fun, but they are all freemium. I download a game, play it for 5 mins, then either have to wait to keep playing or not be able to get past certain things without spending huge amounts of real money. I'm not going to spend 50-100 dollars to unlock everything and the amount of work to be able to get things normally is either impossible to do or would take hours. I realize that companies can make tons of more money from the freemium model, but I don't have any fun with it because of how much it costs. I've also noticed that most of the games that come out are almost just re-skins of other games. I haven't played anything really fresh and new in a while. I wish they made more games that have a one time fee that you can actually level up or whatever to earn things that are completely obtainable. The last game I played that I really had fun with was Battleheart because of the different experience it was and I didn't feel that I have to pay to advance feeling. Thoughts? And are there any games out there that aren't freemium that you guys can recommend me for Android preferably?

tldr: I hate how all games now a days are freemium and do you have any recommendations for games that are not freemium.

That's what happens when you try to play "free" games. Just stop stressing yourself out and spend a dollar or two on some mobile games that are actually enjoyable. Or better yet, switch to PC/console gaming.

The only game I know of that gives you complete access to the entire game without any microtransations or pay to advance/pay to win options is Alien Swarm for the PC. Otherwise, you're going to have to deal with this type of thing if you still want to continue to play these games with this type of model.

If you want some ideas for good games, try this website. They include Android games here, and you're helping charity.

What does it matter what kind of device it's on or if its hardcore or casual? Freemium is freemium.

You spend a paragraph talking about the f2p/freemium models, and then everything turns to moot the moment you start talking about [casual] gaming on mobile phones.

I was just about to agree with you, but no one really cares about games you play on your iPhone while waiting for the bus.
