Nepal-Earthquake Relief

Hey Basilers. As you probably know, the recent earthquake has left Nepal's infrastructure in a bad condition. My mother's parents are current living in a rural village in Nepal, and the latest news provided to us by our uncle is that the village is in terrible condition. Many of the houses have fallen, and the little food they could obtain from the rubble has been consumed or been tarnished by the rain they've been experiencing for the past few days. Most of you have probably also heard of the numerous international donors, such as the United States, or the numerous non-profit organizations, there is money going to Nepal, the problem is that it isn't going to reach the villagers anytime soon. The villagers are isolated, and most relief efforts are focused on providing support for the urban areas of Nepal. Help may arrive for the villagers eventually, but it may be too late by then, extended periods within the current conditions will eventually lead to malnutrition or worse. My parents and their close friends have decided to focus their efforts on providing the villagers with temporary shelter(tarps) and food, due to shipping costs of the tarps and the chaotic situation in Nepal, they've also planned to fly to Nepal in order to avoid any problems. However, the expenses for providing resources for the village even temporarily are costly, and with limited resources, it is unlikely that we'll be able to rebuild their homes for provide almost any long term support. Dealing with the aftermath of the earthquake will be a long and difficult process, so I'm asking for your help as a member of YouTube and the global community to help this village in need.
