@ApplesAreOkay: So assuming 5 dollar per day which is around 35 per week. Food prices may differ. I make most of food from scratch so all most produce will not be canned, frozen, or packaged.

Brocolli crown - 1.28
Leek - .50
carrot bag - .74 per lb
2 or 3 onions - .89 each
2 or 3 green pepper - .50 each
1 red pepper - .78
dirty brown skined looking potato - .80-.88
mushroom (haha....packaged)- 1.88
2 or 3 garlic - .33 each

shin rameun - .77 each
bread - .88 cent
prego glass (for storage) jar - 2.88
soy sauce: 1.88
hill country chicken thin breasts - 5 dollar
ground pork - 3.50
milk gallon - 2.5 or 2 bucks I forgot
12 egg - 1.88 or was it .88

extras which you can get later on
Those are just basics without the others like oil, herbs, seasonings.
Oil get at costco for 10 bucks approx which is much more than what you will get at regular stores if you have to use olive or grape oil.
rice (I get a bag at seoul market which has brown rice, I cant stand white or jasmin rice) - 15 bucks for 15 lb for brown rice
pink salt - 10 or less bucks

Stir fry: bocolli, onion, garlic, leek, brocolli, red pepper, mushroom, chicken, soysauce, water or chicken broth, carrot

spagetti: prego, carrot, green pepper, onion, garlic, ground pork, mushroom, herbs, olive oil(not really needed as ground pork just has enough fat).

egg: rice and eggs

chicken noodle soup - chicken, onion, garlic, carrot, chicken broth, olive oil, herb, potatoe

bread and peanut butter or egg

rameun - egg, onion, garlic, leek, carrot, potatoe

roasted potatoe - potatoe, olive oil, salt, herbs

rice - rice

But isn't pasta = noodles? I like to switch up the sauce for my pasta from good old tomato sauce to asian style peanut sauce, asian dan-dan sauce, satay sauce, black bean paste etc.

My go-to breakfast is quick oats cooked with water, granola, + banana if I have it.
Lunch is a fruit (peach, nectarine, apple, grapes, whatever is in season) or a PB&J sandwich. or crackers, grilled cheese, fried eggs sometimes. I have a late breakfast (~10am) so I have a tiny lunch.
Dinner ideas: noodles/pasta with various sauces, rice, vegetables (broccoli, cucumber, eggplant, bok choy), tofu, chicken or fish.

With potatoes I make rosemary & garlic roasted potatoes. (if you want my recipe just ask). or you can make mashed potatoes as a side with some broccoli or asparagus.
With chicken I either cut into bite size pieces and fry with some sweet&sour sauce, or some home made sauce, or I make chicken katsu with panko, or just marinade in some sweet chili sauce & bake.
I don't really eat beef or pork.
With fish I marinade in some garlic&butter&other stuff and bake.

They're all pretty easy to make imo. Fun things to make: try Pinterest or YouTube cooks and just make whatever looks good to you. I like www.laurainthekitchen.com, she has hundreds of recipes.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. I will be definitely taking these into consideration.
i'll probably go grocery shopping next week. Im going to try to pick up ground pork and chicken and make the most out of it. Also vegetables ;x

You can customize ramen noodles dood. Get chicken breast on the pound, pretty cheap meat. Instead of cereal, get toast and eggs.
What is your food budget in one week before I write down my food plans.

@ApplesAreOkay What would your budget be on a weekly basis?
I havent established a budget yet. Aiming for maximum $200 monthly. This doesnt necessarily mean I want to spend that much every month.
Right now ive been having full day meals for around $5 estimate
