Re Proof Mods have been angry at the community lately

Just a reply to your thread, since it was locked.

Mods are broken.
Seeing that your thread was quickly closed. Apparently we cant have an opinion on them and be allowed to discuss it. We dont need to put a complain when we simply want to discuss it with the community.
My last straw was when I made a thread to talk about a video. It was closed for posting an irrelevant link to my thread. Wait what? My thread was about that specific video. Oh god. (also a ban)
(Rule #2 - Trolling & Spamming)

No im not attacking the mods, im basically criticizing their ideas and actions. Im sure theyre great people, but some of the bans they give out are not justified.

MrBasil is the only one who's able to read tickets. The result is permanent backlog and automated replies that aren't always as helpful.

On why complaint threads are locked: Actually I'm in favour of leaving such threads open. The thing is, that a rational discussion is almost impossible. The tone of many threads and replies posted to them is quite hostile. Our comments are often attacked or completely ignored. We can't say a thing without it being scrutinised for errors, slip-ups or something people will find objectionable for whatever reason. Often talking to a wall yields about the same result, but is more risk-free because walls don't typically lash out and hit you in the face. Such cynicism, such agression!
I do understand your position. We're not professionals and the rules of this place are strict. I'm in favour of loosening them (especially rule #2) up a big deal. Thing is, I'm not the admin. And the admin's the one who created this "Close those complaint threads" policy in the first place. So guys, you're barking up the wrong tree here.

I'm more than willing to discuss suspensions and the rules in a peaceful environment, but though I may have the reputation of being somewhat of a goodie-two-shoes doormat, even I am not willing to be anyone's punching bag. If you have any complaints, feel free to PM me and I'll put them on my agenda. It's like this little sign I spotted at a restaurant more than a decade ago: "If you're malcontant, tell us. If you're content, tell others."

Sorry, policy dictates (see what I did there?) that this thread should be locked. Once again: if you have a complaint, do PM me and I'll try to help you out as well as I can.

Also, yes. This is a police state. I've never been on a forum that isn't one.

Please Submit a ticket if you have a complaint. Mrbasil doesn't read the forums too often, and your concerns won't be heard unless you submit a ticket.

If you have any questions, you can PM us.

I agree. Its like going to jail because you disagree with your city councils. lol.

Guess what mods, we have every single god given right to voice our opinions about you.
