Problem with posting on Basil
Recently I keep getting this message when I try to post something in a thread.
Especially if I type out long paragraphs, sometimes it is virtually impossible to find my mistake.
I usually end up just not posting it..
Either you forgot a space after a period or you're using a URL shortener. Due to abuse, URL shorteners are not allowed on this site.
I checked all my periods or anything that looked like a URL... I dont get it.
Am I missing something here?

This can be a tricky one to find.
Apparently the algorithm that detects the use of URL shorteners detectscombinations of punctuation and spaces, like you'd see in the URLs produced by the URL shorteners. If somehow you come up with a similar combination it triggers the filter and then there's nothing you can do other than try to modify the text until it takes it.
From times this has happened to me, it seems to dislike the letters "to" in combination with periods.
