That's the thing though, for legitimate players, yes it was a legitimate trading system.
But for all the hackers//glitchers/exploiters in the game it was a way to easily and quickly spread their illicit stolen goods all around Maple world and make them hard to track down and remove from the game.

So thank the hackers/glitchers/exploiters for getting this legitimate trading system abolished.

@Archetype: Pretty much. Duey had SO many bugs and dupe glitches, so instead of just removing him, they swapped him for Donald.

@Archetype: Mhm, I agree. But after the event they could transfer it.

@zzzz50: That idea's completely sound. However, with that in mind, wouldn't make more sense to postpone his services during those kinds of events?

@Archetype: I also think it is "useful". I agree. But I believe Nexon did this to stop mule accounts for events and other things. With Mule Accounts many people can take advantage of the Ring Event, and transfer all the rings or profits to their main.

Donald does nothing. Duey does something

I liked Duey better. But once Duey scammed me, so I can't really speak in this thread.
