do drks ignore defense at all
or do they have a way around dr? I've been meaning to pick up my drk to play casually but I never gave it much though, if I were to I'd also pick spear over PA since it brings back so many memories. There aren't differences between the two anymore right?

Gungnir ignores 50% of the enemies defense and sacrifice gives +10% ignore defense. You can ignore DR while final pact is active.
To go though damage reflect... get yourself killed. Or have Shinku levels of hp, pop Dark Thirst, and you might actually drain through it...

they used to ignore all defense on a weak ass 3rd job skill (tho it was their strongest attack kinda) now they just like everyone else (xcept them asuras and whatevas)
they can ignore dr if they die
