Monitor service in background?

Okay, so I was casually opening up Maplestory to play of course. I loaded up gamelauncher, it did the Hackshield loader thing, then an error message popped up and it said (exactly): "A monitor program has been found running in your system. Please, unload it from memory and restart your program." It was sent to me by WinLicense. I checked the task manager and nothing of any sort was running and I'm still unable to play Maple. It's been happening since the 1.07 patch with the stupid, and annoying "Nexon Guard" thing. (I can say it's useless because I can't prove myself wrong unless I play the game.) Any help? It's very annoying.
do you have iobit malware defender? i had this and was getting that message and read online that it causes that message and deleted it and now my maple works fine
OHHHHHHHHH, that's probably it then. I actually do have that running. Would it be a good idea to just end the process or uninstall it completely?

Try restarting the loopback adapter (No idea what that means, just wanted to sound somewhat smart) o.o
