False Diamyo give x2 drop rate?

Hey guys,
I'm trying to buy a x2 drop rate familiar and I know the blue wolf underling has the x2 effect. The problem is I can't find one and I know somebody who is selling the familiar 'False Daimyo' which increases drop and meso rate by a large amount. I just want confirmation that this familiar in fact will give me x2 drop rate.
