Hep with Maplestory Id

I made a new account but it's been 4 years since I actually made another account and I forgot how to make username ID. I like to use gamelauncher when running maple but it won't let me log in when I use, let's say my e-mail is maplestory234 at gmail.com, I thought the ID is maplestory234? How do I make a user ID?
