Honestly the reason to why the feel of maplestory is gone is because of the community. Before everyone was a family. Before, if you needed help, youd make like 2-3 friends questing or PQing. Now, I really appreciate just assistance on things like for example Gollux preqs. etc. To give back, i try to answer as many noobs questions and give back

a kind person gave me all archer empress equips besides the cape and weapon (for my merc) it was a long time ago but I saved his IGN and still see him around~ we boss and chat
When I started out someone was pretty much my mentor and helped me with every stupid question I had. He was my inspiration to do what I do today.... helping new players wherever I can and making sure I give out around 150m a week to people who seem like they need it... This one is more or less just a reward of good character, I love getting on one of my low level characters and asking for around 500k. I wait for the first person to trade me, to put in the money and accept the trade, then I quickly drop 50m accept and log off. Its always fun seeing the persons expression when you log back on with a different char.
The best thing I got was a 30 mastery book for some skill. I feel so unlucky compared to others...
One of the nicest things a stranger has done for me in game was giving me some mesos and items to help kick start my account. Although it wasn't much, I was really grateful, knowing alot of people in game can be jerks. As time went by, that stranger became my best friend in game, in this, I thank you Doug ^_^

When I started out Maple, someone gave me 5m so I could begin crafting. I turned that 5m into every item I have today! It upsets me that I don't know the guy's name.
I believe it was iBritishFolk or something. He's an archer who wanted to make a full marksman guild 1.5 years ago.
Also, many times, I lose my free market spots and people return them. It's really nice of them since they don't have to return anything.
One time, I sold an item for the wrong price. Someone returned the item to me and saved my butt.
Couple years ago, this guy took me on a free zakum run and told me I could get all the loot if I could survive. He even dropped the EOF.
I kind of knew the guy because he was acquainted with my Maple husband, but he tried to make me join his guild and gave me 3 free Empress pieces. I didn't join.

Some level 18 walked up to me the other day and said "I like how you look" then famed me, dropped a mushroom cap on me then walked off o.o
Never saw him anymore after that but it was hilarious
When I started out, this really nice guy encouraged me to become a shadower. He gave me 250mil and a dagger worth 300mil. I have yet to thank him..
I've gotten 1mil from begging but that's all I can remember.
