BaM Hyper Skills

I recently started playing a battle mage. I'm loving telecast. It's possibly the most unique attacking style in the game. I have one question, though? Does anyone else feel like our passive hyper skills are useless? What are we supposed to be putting points into?

I feel like the only hyper skills worth any mention are the cooldown reduction on Dark Genesis and the one that gives our FA higher dmg while Dark Genesis is on cooldown? The aura hypers are meh because there's hardly a situation where I would use another aura over yellow aura, and the hypers that buff party shield... like I don't even use that skill often.

What gives? What are you guys putting your points into?

Also can someone explain Master of Death? From what I understand, it's supposed to make the Condemnation pet thing attack more often but half the time it feels like it's attacking at the same rate that it usually does?

For the hyper skill, I put in dark gen cool down cutter, party shield duration, party shield is a useful skill in endgame bossing and it is my favorite skill
And I put one in each auras, blue aura like mentioned earlier for auto dispel, debuff aura 10% ele ignore is the MOST important one since it boost your DMG on engame bosses by a lot.
And dark aura 10% boss DMG isn't that useful and I am thinking of switching to dark gen FA DMG.
But it is a bit useful for aura swapping.

As for master if death, it reduces the cool down of reaper every time you use a "dark" skill.
Some of our skills got changed to dark type not that long ago.
Chain, battle burst, dark shock, dark genesis are now dark skills.
So the trick when using master of death is to use those dark skills to bring the CD of reaper down (mainly dark shock telecast).
And the difference is really notable for me when I use the skill either when grinding or bossing.

mmm. You pretty much got it right. I actually put a point on the blue aura because it actually acts as an instant dispell. But unless you really like using party shield Id just focus on the dark genesis skills and the auras you like.

It's much easier to see the difference in its attack pattern at bosses, but I have no problems seeing the difference regardless. But I think I might not completely understand what you mean... Could you elaborate?
