No the traveling system is just fine already, like other people have said, no one really wants to take 15 mins to travel to another continent especially when so many quests ask you to travel to so many of them.

Still wouldn't change anything, people will still afk or do something else otherwise. Forcing us to take a ship for any alloted amount of time won't increase social behavior.

You forget about all the people who complained about how long it took to travel. I do miss the party quest stuff though

Some people rather not take 15 minutes to just get to their destination- cause it's just what you said, a game. The ship ride was fun, and the Crimson Balrog that might invade every now and then was fun, but I love Maplestory system of transportation now compared to before- just too much time wasted. And don't say I don't have time to waste, just because it's a game. I rather do something than wait for 15 minute, wether I talked to people or just afk'd around.

There is a community within Maplestory- you already proved it by saying how you're a guild leader and have plenty of socialization. I made friends from PQ, and from training with people at Stronghold. Except the difference is, I'm not waiting for 15 minutes- if I wanted to do nothing for a certain amount of time but talking to people, I use Aim messenger.

Please explain to me what the point of making this thread was.

Yeah! let's bring back the 15 min wait and d/c cuz taking an hour to travel from victoria to orbis is totally worth it in the name of socializing!

No, players want to quit not because the game is getting too easy, it's either because of Nexon's terrible leadership, players are getting too old, nothing else to do because it's not worth doing or they're too weak, the list goes on.

If you really think trapping us with a boat with nothing to do for 5-10 minutes is going get any of us to speak with people, you are sadly mistaken.

I rather they do something in the middle.

Get rid of the dimensional portal thing and ship only but only need to wait 1 minute to get to any continent.

Stronghold, PQ, Romeo and Juliet, all of these I've made friends from. Strike a conversation, instead of being that boring person who just does the pq and leaves hwen you're done. Simple as that

The pq room is good cause on dead servers like renegades it's almost impossible to find someone to do that pq with you. It is still hard to find someone to do pq's with even on ch one of renegades

is that why the player base was 10x more a few years ago than it is now? It's obvious that such an easy game with no challenge would make people want to quit.

i've never known anything other than heneseys, there is literally no where else to go to meet people and socialize other than the occasional talkative pq friends

i think aqua road is such a cute chill spot but nobody agrees so i just stay in heneseys

i remember watching a video of everyone on their own airplane flying to a different continent, i want to do that with friends too, but nobody uses it
