How do I ask out a girl?
So I'm a 17 year old female and I want to know how to ask out a girl?
It's been annoying me by the fact that there's so many happy people around me. I even get bullied by friends and family for either being single or the fact that I want to date another girl. I've had a boyfriend but he never spoke to me since we broke up 9 months ago.

Wow your friends and family suck, no offense lol.
Just find a girl you're comfortable with and make sure she feels the same way, also definitely make sure that she likes girls too lol or it could end up extremely awkward.
Is she bi or lesbian? Are you out of the closet? Would her friends approve?
You could just do this. I had a girlfriend once. We all went to an art school so people were pretty open about everything. I took her to a cafe, bought her food, and took her for a walk around the field. When I felt she was really into me, I just turned her around and kissed her as the sun was setting at our school festival. She was okay with it so we dated for a while. Eventually, I had no phone and was on lockdown at my house until I turned eighteen and moved out so I lost all of her contact information and never saw her ever again.

In all honesty though, you should give more detail like; do you have a certain girl in mind?

how well do you know each other? Like are you friends, maybe close friends or is she someone you have yet to confront at all.

Obviously there are less lesbians than straight girls, but even they've been brought over by curiosity before.
Just engage them and look for signs that they may be interested in chicks, like you.
Start up conversation casually, see how that goes. Get them to hang out, see how that goes. Gently slowly casually ramp up the flirty and see how they react. I suppose you could even do that pre-date if you two are around each other a lot.

Are you out of the closet? Is she? Then treat it as a normal date-asky-situation. If not then you should probably be blunt about it in case it comes across as a joke
In this case, you'll have to be direct. Don't make it too subtle you're interested.
People will freak at those who MAY be bisexuals and homosexuals. If she knows, then it'll be easier.
