Best bow wielding bosser?
I can provide a full Cra set along with a solid gollux set of equips for this character. Which one would be best if I want to boss alot with the occasional mobbing? I really like mobile characters as well. Any help would be appreciated ^_^.
Y'know, for a boss like Gollux, I could see a Bowmaster being very good from a tactical standpoint. Placing Arrow Blaster down, you could have it focus on the head while you focus on keeping the enemies back... or do the reverse (put the blaster down to defend one side of the screen while alternating between the head and defending the other side of the screen.

Easier than that Phoenix takes one side, Turret the other http://www.basilmarket.com/MapleStory-Bowmaster_golluxing-Bowman-Video-29438.html

Just lock in blood arrow and place a turret when you need to rebuff.
That way you won't have to worry about getting killed because your turret will heal you back to full!
well i have both wind archer and bowmaster and both unfuded something like 80k - 130k dmg range 70%boss 47%pdr
bowmaster for me is way better than wind on mobbing because of turret and life steal *--*
wind archer are just perfect for bossing and flower make it easy to rebuff on gollux wich is really hard for my bm ( i do normal gollux on both )
well i love to play with all archers since i have mercedes and mm ( no love for wh) but the most fun for me was 1wind - mercedes - bm - mm
and yes i'm a casual player no link skills except mercedes ( sorry for bad english )
Peace

It's true. WA needs massive fundings to boss.
Currently my range is about 1m, with 170% boss and it's kind of hard to boss hard-hell mode. :c
Need more funding. <3

Probably cause no one seems to like archers.
I don't know why though. They are fun. Or maybe they are the ones that tried it pre bb and back when they had it really bad lol.

@Mesmus: Yes.

@Elufu: Yeah probably but there are worse bossing classes out there too.
But your pure unfunded damage list has WA at the bottom? Does the list take into account the elemental resist every Cygnus knights has?
Balancing between mobbing and bossing, I personally would recommend MM.
@Mesmus: WH are currently the worst archer for bossing in every regard (damage, mobility cos hitbox) fyi.
Purely looking at innate skill damage etc (i.e. unfunded damage) against empress.
1. BM+its efficient use of turret
2. MM / BM / Merc
3. WA/WH
[corrected, totally forgot about including some buffs on merc]
Please note BM's receive a really nice damage against bosses due to armor break.
I just think you kind of singled bowmasters out in that respect. Arguably wh are in the same place as bms.
With the OPs equipment neither of the classes are going to shine anyway but they will perform best with a low range. Also seems to me you haven't played wild Hunter.
Wild Hunter may not be the best bosser of the archers but in this case, it's high unfunded damage saves it. With these equips you can't really do any of the challenging bosses anyway.
Its already been explained why in the thread

Which one between wind archers and mm would be better then? I know that WA is more mobile but MM is more sturdy. Which would be easier at say, Gollux?
they both have puppets and can stay safe during the eye phase of gollux so for both of the classes gollux becomes a dps check, but im told that the MM puppet is not as reliable as the WA and i can confidently say that i never had any trouble with mine as long as im soloing.

With just CRA set and Solid Gollux set, you would want to pick between MM and WA. WH and BM need much more than that to provide a decent outcome.
All except bowmaster would do well
All except bowmaster would do well
With your funds MM is the way to go.
