Oh, I think anvil literally means to fuse the two items and have the stats of one (only) and appearance of the other.
I'd better get some crappy, real cheap specs to anvil then! Right?

To keep this example real basic..
I have sweetwahter glasses (epic, 4% int) now I anviled (?) it to the Specs.

Now I have specs, with the same exact potential. Correct?

Random example:
Glasses (w/ unique pot 10% int) Anviled to Specs (w/epic 4% int)

Result: Specs with unique pot, 14% int.

Very basic and kinda hard to understand but hopefully you get what I'm trying to imply.

% Int is necessary, but theres no point in creating level 100 equips that youre gonna replace anyways.
I'd rather cube my fafnir to get % int instead of having 21% int level 100 overalls. It takes time. Its true % int is more useful at lvl 200, but the set itself provides a good attack boost to your range. To have a good range, you need a balance between magic attack (assuming mage) and % int.
I would go for clean fafnir equips since they're just so much cheaper. Although, hearing that it's a mage makes it a little more difficult since clean pants are expensive still.
In short: Yes go for fafnir, it's the best end game set. You might not have immediate boosts to your range compared to %int equips, but you will have items that are worth working on improving.

Extremely helpful. Does it have to be fafnir though? And which weapons am I supposed to get?
My cousin strongly recommends that I keep more %int equips since apparently they're more useful compared to Matk. since im nearing 200 soon.
So am I basically supposed to find a whole set of fafnir equips that are clean, or already scrolled?

from last time works on miester ones dnt think it worked on cubes that go to unique rank only. and all cash shop ones work from what I recall. anyways it should tell u in the screen what cube works during miracle time.

With the implement of Shielding scrolls in elite boss drops, I'd suggest A LOT of elite boss farming.
If you can gather enough of them, the spell traces have 15% +9 attk "Scrolls" for fafnir weapons. I'd suggest getting a fafnir and scrolling it with those shieldings.

If you have ~500m go buy a fafnir claw and cube that. Demand for these items are high so you're best off cubing those.

What doesn't make sense to me is that it gives about 44k range and it's somehow a crappy weapon?
I would think that 44k range is somewhat okay for someone who has less than 200m funding- while other equipment gives me just a couple thousand range.
Plus, whenever I scan fm to find fafnir weapons and etc. that cost 150-300m, they only give me 1-3k more range.
Totally useless. I really want a weapon that will boost my range significantly, but I just don't have the money.
In my case, I'm not someone who has money to somehow buy 9b worth of equips or something (as you can easily tell)
so I don't get what I'm doing wrong really, I worked really hard scrolling that weapon too.

That equip will be worth more if you invest in innocence scrolls on it.

3. Cubed/Enhanced is better unless you have heaps to spend.

EDIT: Honestly, you'd be better off selling the NX you have than to cube those things you have..They're pretty worthless. (Sorry to be blunt)
