I'd like to bring to your attention a person who has a huge heart for this community.
Never asking for anything but a mere virtual donut, this man has won the hearts of many.
After 8 years of Maplestory I've realized how much this community has developed.
I've seen nice people, ignorant people, kind people, and caring people.
As of now, this current generation have been pure trash.
I would never have expected to see so many people hating on one another.
And this "hate" isn't justified either. You'll see people asking questions, starting threads for price checks,
and sometimes, there are people who are serious about it. But to me, it really sucks to see these innocent people being treated unfairly.
It's not like they did anything to you either, they're either asking for help or stating their opinion.
This thread isn't just about the thread above, but the Basil Market and Maplestory community wholly.
I know, obviously not everyone will read this thread and actually change their attitude towards people, but I just want to get this information out there.
We're all family, we came from the same place, we're all human. Are we not? There is no reason for any of us to make others feel bad.
If someone were to fight you with fire, would you fight back with fire? Absolutely not. You'd fight back with water.
@Draception is the prime example of this.
Despite all the hate, he continues to waste things that are most precious to him (time), for people he doesn't even know.
Would you do what he's doing? Probably not. Imagine, he would have to set his own alarm and wake up to release some IGN's.
There were a couple that were released at around 2-5AM today. That's insane. He doesn't know a single one of you yet he does this.
Even though it's truly not a big deal, I mean really- it's just an IGN, but the fact that he actually does do this sums up the entire reason why he does it.
Because he loves doing it.
All in all, I think he is one of many people that everyone should consider trying to be. Our community will benefit greatly from this.
For all you haters who hate on the community for being so "rude" and "mean" have you looked at yourselves?

Well anyway, thanks for reading my concern, and even in this unfortunate time of Maplestory's downfall,
I hope to see the community rise up to be what it used to be a few years ago.

I don't see rude people just walking around town, they're all just rude online because they can be.

its only natural to expect that. I do it often as well, but unfortunately everyone needs to realize they wont always be satisfied with how people turn out to be. maybe Im just fed up with ppl's bs in general and my point of view on certain communities leans towards negativity. its always nice to see people like the ign giveaway guy around though it helps me realize not everyone is full of crap

I honestly have no words to respond to this.
Azim, you're pretty amazing. I've already accepted that people are going to be cruel.
I also knew that the world is only cruel because of the cruel people that reside in it.
But you my friend have shown that the community really isn't that dead.
There are still people with hearts, and they're just waiting to speak their own words.

I expected humans to be fair with each other.
Opinions are great, feedback always helps. I'm not saying that NEGATIVE feedback should render NONEXISTENT.
But the way to express things should be more formal. There's no need to call someone an idiot for his post (especially when he's giving away free stuff? LOL )

You know what's truly sad? The community has gotten so bad, that people think it's the norm now. It's like having that one friend who's a jerk to everyone but you insist on defending him with things like "Oh, well that's just how he is. You'll get used to it".
I agree, but this thread was pointless. Nothing will change. Do you really think a "hateful" person will read your post and go "I now see the error of my ways."?
