Hey guys
How much %luk and range would I be able to solo zak in around 15 minutes?
And how much should I be doing per star at that range?

@DragonHaQ its around 5k range per L7 to get a 10k but around 55xx-6k to seem them often

@BoxWoman: Ehh my hermit is hitting 7k+ per star and its range is 3k-4k xD. I'm using hwabis, if it matters.

Quick Question: How high does your range have to be to hit 10k each L7 and TT?

Oh. My bad. I was referring to how annoying the mobs get since they get in the way of spamming TT at VL and lower your dps for a bit. You're right about the excellent 1v1 capability though.

@LegendsBoy12 BodyGuard in Showa, HT depending on your funding (You'll die a lot though at that level). Unfortunately NL isn't made for soloing VL. Fleyx was a rare exception.

Yeah, and congrats. I remember talking to my buddies while soloing my first Zak. Not a good idea because I wasted almost 10 minutes, and ended up finishing with about 1 minute to spare trying to loot all the drops.

I was wondering the same exact thing myself. My guess in which my current top range is about 14200 clean (yea i know its low but once i cube my equips for more than a total of 3% luk i'll be doing a fine amount of dmg) would be about a 4-6k increase with all the new skills maxed out, that is the expert skill, the dark serenity skill, and the training skill. It would vary a lot depending on your current luk, luk%, and wa. If anyone has the actual increase to their nl it would be nice if they posted it here, of course you would have to be a kms player right now though.

Total luk: 1578 (880-ish base + 700)

Str still increases your range by a miniscule amount (at least on my NL), so that counts for something. xD Not sure why you aren't getting anything.

Well, you have to factor in potential once you equip a new item, so it can get tricky for some.

% attack is from all your total weapon attack. The extra attack calculated is added to your range, so you end up with a red "buffed" range.

@xlDanteIx: Cygnus's Successor is only 2 attack. Silent Grand Crusade is 1 attack and 5 all stats like you said. Besides int, all the other stats (str, dex, luk) boost your attack range as well. If we go by the generic 5 luk:1 attack, then Silent Grand Crusade would have 2 attack with the added stats of 5 str and dex. That's more than 2 attack from Cygnus's Successor. You also have to factor % luk, % dex, % all stat potential affecting the 5 all stats on the medal. It makes Silent Grand Crusade better than the Cygnus's Successor.

@MarshMallows: Roughly 10k+ increase with the 70 attack (Star Expert + Dark Serenity), I would think for your max range. Use a few buffs to get close to 70 attack to see how big your range will increase by.

Well, the higher luk you have, the more potent 1 attack becomes. 1 attack is generally around 5 luk minimum for most NL's, so if you're at an insane amount of luk, 1 attack would gradually increase to over 10 luk. The only way 1 luk could offset 1 attack is if you have a greater amount of total attack than total luk, and that's pretty much impossible.

@xlDanteIx: Practically impossible if you go by a 1 for 1 ratio.

@xldanteix : He may be also talking about the added %luk. IDK what his %luk is but if its like 200% then i would say 3 luk which then would become 6 luk may be better than 2 wa. If you are talking about straight up 3luk vs. 2wa then idk, i'm not a high enough lvl or know enough on the math side of this game to figure that out.

Dang i slipped. What read you addressed the question, I read you already answered that question lol. Seems like i made a fool of myself. Anyways like i said before just answer the questions((maybe a little sooner, you know like 2 pages sooner, it makes you seem like you A) missed the question or B) didn't care enough to answer)), that way you don't have to be angry(not implying you were) when someone answers incorrectly for you. I've stalked through your profile and looked at your answers on other threads and it seems like your trying extra hard to have intelligent answers here(sorry for stalking but i wanted to see if you're the same way on all threads, as in seeming to act superior to others and using rather large words in your comments). One last thing, would you mind stating why exactly you want players after 07 to erase their nls, i'm curious myself as to why? Since it isn't bandwagoning. Is it the inflation of prices or the competition? Oh and btw, they weren't my reasons, just an assumption of yours which like you said are incorrect.
Edit: @LegendsBoy12 : yea i know i'm way off topic, but it's sorta fun. The messing up part isn't fun though. lol. To answer your question i've read atleast 20k to solo within the time limit but you may still not make it depending on zaks usage of WA cancel and other skills slowing you down.

@FurFarm : I've read all your previous comments and none of them answer the question(while typing this i checked again more thoroughly and still haven't seen your answer), that is unless you stated your reason in your first comment before asking your question, but i don't think that is the case since you were asked twice, maybe you should go back and check yourself. Yes i was needed since you didn't seem to be answering them even after being asked twice. Truthfully, i'm actually excited about this discussion since your actually giving me a challenge unlike most people. Though most of the challenge is deciphering your comment. If you chose to speak like most people and not use such big words this would be a much easier task, but i'm guessing the use of big words is natural for you. How much funding would it take to achieve "average" damage as an NL?

To everyone who came looking for help: there's a very elitist attitude in this sub-forum.
Also back in 07, NL's were OP they no longer are, therefore asking us to delete our NL's is absurd. >.<

@nietsrevliS: @DrascoDan: yea i know, i just like being unique, i myself wasn't calling EVERYONE who made an nl after 07 bandwagoners, but i still wan't a lower pop. on nls. I was just explaining the view of FurFarm for the guy. I know there are multiple other reasons for people making a certain character. Also, the bandwagon title mainly applies to those who made the character due to them being stronger, not any of the other reasons usually and then changing classes once a new stronger class is released or one of the older ones are revamped and made stronger than the previous.
Edit: when i said i agree with FurFarm, i was talking about the deleting part(more of a joke), not the bandwagon part.

I realize that around that time, the NL class was OP and they were everywhere, but no one who creates a NL these days is doing so because they are powerful. It;s completely idiotic to say that Night Lords who play now but were created after 2007 should be deleted. We are a rather weak class currently. A very fun class in my opinion, but weak none the less. Personally, I created my Night Lord in 2008 because my friend showed me a Loopedd video when he was trying to get me to play, and I thought Night Lord was a really cool job name. 2007 was early enough in maplestory for a lot of new players like me to still be joining, so I'll bet almost half of those Night Lords were not just jumping on the bandwagon.

You can keep it if you want. The books are cheap now, though. If you fail it in the revamp, you'll need another and by then, it would have inflated again.

You can exchange TT 20 for QT 20 from the Maple Admin in the Justice patch if you are reluctant to use it. If you use the book, it's about a 80/20 (imo) that you hit/miss on receiving QT 20 in the update. Points and mastery should transfer, though. No need to screw over many players within the 4 affected classes (NL, Shad, Bucc, Sair) who have already passed the books from the release of 4th job up until now.

Should I make NL? I think they seem pretty cool. xD

@rockboy82 Considering Drain gets deleted, yes. I would say Vampire would be very useful for bossing. Only issue might be less room for stars.

I'd say theyre pretty good seeing as how you can know stack pots in 300s thus giving more space for stars.

I've answered it before, but it's Shade Split. With 70% SP, it beats ETSH-buffed Avenger.

There's literally nothing to an NL. The second one decides to become an assassin all one has to do is throw stars, with each job getting more stars. Since the mechanics of an NL are so simple, the only reasonable questions to ask about NLs would be about damage and equips, questions that can easily be answered in the shadower FAQ since both classes use mostly the same equips.

To rephrase: AznDrkx, if you want to make this thread as useful as possible to NLs then I would suggest editing the original post, indicating that all NL-related questions should be directed to the shadower thread. After that is done lock this thread.
