Just wondering if it affects Arans at all.
Thanks
Unless you're using a Slow (7) or slower polearm (I don't know why you would when it's not pre-2012 anymore), you will not benefit from the +1 attack speed ability.
The normal speed cap is Fastest (2), so using a Normal (6) or faster polearm will make you reach that speed cap because Polearm Booster and Polearm Mastery gives -3 and -1 attack speed, respectively.
The two things that will allow you to bypass the normal speed cap of Fastest (2) are the green monster park extreme potions and the Rune of Decay/Destruction/Swiftness.
*No, decent speed infusion doesn't bypass the normal speed cap.
Thanks for that.
I'm asking if I can break into the negatives with a green potion, since i'l pretty much always be on one when I go bossing and need dps.
My pa is Fafnir Moonglaive, is (5)fast, -3 and -1 from booster brings me to 1 (capped at 2), but with a mpe green pot (which i heard is -2), will I be at 0 or -1? If you can break into negatives, wouldn't the inner ability help alot? since you'll be at -2.

I have experimented with this over and over (using decent speed infusion, speed infusion, bam yellow aura etc) and no Aran cannot go into -1 attack speed. Once you use mpe potions with a fast pole arm, that is as fast as you would be able to hit.

Fast polearm is 5, booster takes off 3, and polearm master takes off 1 so 5-3-1= 1, but the soft cap stops it at 2 so you need MPE pot to break it making it 0. However I don't think Aran has a hard speed cap at 0, havent actually tested it but when I hit -2 it feels faster.

So if Aran has a hard cap of 0 then inner ability wont affect it.

Fafnir Moon Glaive: Fast (5) <-I believe, not sure
Booster (5) - 3 = (2) <-soft attack speed cap
Green MPE pot (2) - 1 = (1) <-MPE pot breaks soft cap
Inner ability (1) - 1 = (0) <-afaik this is the hard cap

tdlr: it does if you're using an MPE green potion, otherwise no
