Couple mild hits while not paying attention but nothing serious.. Since when i do drive although a bit careless im completely alert

I was in a car accident recently where my friend was exiting on a freeway and merging left to make a left turn. We were in a regular four door car, and a sizeable van nudged against our left and shook up my friend. o.o

Crashed on a highway. Permanent hearing damage and left leg injury.

That's nothing. When I was 7 we were taking a legal left turn going down hill. suddenly, we got rear ended by a 4 runner that was going 65 mph downhill. I got whip lashed and blacked out. When I woke up, I was laying on the gurney being loaded into the ambulance. While the girl that rear ended us went to jail for DUI.

As of now, I have never been in an accident once in 4 years of driving experience.

I almost got in a car accident in the drivers ed car, but it wouldn't have been my fault. There was a funeral convoy going by, so I gave them the right of way like I'm supposed to. We were at an intersection, and the funeral was crossing. I was waiting to get across. Some guy tried to pass me, while I was stopped, and barely missed my car. The teacher honked the horn and he gave me a nasty look. x_x

i hit a tree once because of black ice. other than that i never gotten into any other accident

I was driving my Dad's BMW around the block and I hit the turn too fast and hit the telephone pole. Man my Dad still hates me for that >_>

I had my first major accident just two months ago where my car got totaled. I was on the freeway on my way to school and there was construction happening on the side of the freeway and it seems there was a rock of some sort on my lane and when my tire ran over the rock (mind you the rock was large enough to have one of my tires go all the way off the road), and lost control because my car started hydroplaning since it was raining. I spun through three of the lanes and smashed into a tree that was on the very side of the freeway. If my car spun one more time I wouldn't be here anymore.

I sometimes yearn, but usually fear the feeling.

I've been backed up into. They were going <5mph.
Also been rear ended because of the wet road, guy didn't brake quickly enough and scratched my back.
Hydroplaned, spun out and scraped back of car on rail... no one was around thankfully and unfortunately.

A garbage truck was going down the street in reverse and backed into my mom's car with me, my brother and sister inside. Not much damage though, since it was a slow hit

As far as my own driving experiences go, there have been a few close calls (either due to my inexperience months ago, or other people's stupidity nowadays) but I've yet to get in a crash. I just assume everyone on the road is an idiot and prepare for the worst case scenarios

I had someone cut me off in the rain at night years back and I ended up hydroplaning into him at 30mph. His car was totaled, my truck had a slight misalignment of the front bumper.

I also hit black ice a few years back and was about 1 inch from slamming head first into a pole.
