Novelty and stuff, same reason why people used to pay 1b for Coco familiar or even the cygnus knight familiars in Scania

There is a diminishing supply, and the only way to get them was from doing the SAO event. Since the event is long gone, The price for them has increased. Although, not by much it seems.
