Everyone says that the hackers are ruining the game
Or Nexon is ruining it
Well i can say NEITHER of these are "ruining Maple"
Have you ever thaught that maybe the hackers help the game?
Without the hackers the economy would be absolutely screwed. Yes sometimes they make the econemy really bad
But without them it would be a lot worse.
For example there would not be as many items and therefore they would all cost more.
And also i know certain games and even banks actually hire people to attempt to hack them to see how good (or bad) the security is.
Maybe Nexon lets the hacks go for so long so they can add get more items into the economy and try rebalance it.
Anyway. Just my thaught on the issue

This. I wouldn't care if it didn't affect me directly. However in the duping last night my pink bean chair went from 80k nx value to 20k.
While I do not support hacking in any way, I think the people who deliberately try to ruin the game for others (ksers, scammers, etc) are the real problem. Nobody should be blaming Nexon for bad people, they need to blame the bad people themselves for ruining the game.
I hate the impact hackers have on the physical running of the game (crashes, rollbacks, extended outages).
However, I love the impact on the economy. They make it easier for all people to enjoy the higher levels of the game, as we can get nice eq to go on boss runs, etc...
For any casual player, they are very very helpful. My goal is to play and enjoy the game's content, not spend hundreds/thousands of hours int he FM 'merching'. Hackers mean no merching required- I love it!
I can understand maybe with the duping hacks and stuff and maybe they react a bit slow to that
But the people who hack to get levels i don't really care about
If they want to hack and maybe they find it more enjoyable then that is their choice
